and the list grows on and on :D (love this thread, so useful !)
Chesh, when we all meet up at the £party, you may be surprised how many offspring you actually have (some may look like Myo though) :-D
John, I have about 3-5 years left but I will see the firsty bulk carrier leave the new dock and my kids will finally blow kisses to me instead of smirking and pointing :=)
ffs just let him in already....
Careful JimboD, stepping into ramper territory will only get the 'green poster' brigade on your case :-)
Been a very satisfactory day, topped up at 11.1 to bring my avg down and added 19 to my filters :).
It won't get a chance to run into problems because the metor strike will put an end to everything so don't concern yourself .....:P
Trust Chesh, his posts may be a little hard to interpret sometimes but he has the experience to comment and inform :-)
Contact FCA and see if they can suggest a site to monitor any progress.
Not only able to get my avg down but an even better opportunity to expand my filter :D
(anyone else want to quote from Mot the Fool just to help me on the filters??)
......trip trap .....trip trap
S'ok Chesh, us goats no longer fear them, since the exalted one showed us the way to cross the bridge :)
I'm sure that there was a couple of post re. the above .... wonder what happened to them?
and another one meets the filter :p
Chesh, no need to get all academic and confusing, I thought that detractor is what I couple me plough to :)
Anyone referencing anything from the Fool needs to take a long look at themselves and then punch themselves in the face, repeatedly.
Sorry LitC, you broke my personal rule and will spend some time in filter land :(
Myo, as usual your sleuthing is second to none, Poirot-sotis strikes again :).
IMHO this development with regard to the disposal of the spoil, however it is handled, can only be a big positive for the overall project.
Have to go now and pack for a few days in North Wales. Got to keep the boss happy as she says it will be sunny there :} (but I'm still putting my wellies in 1st!!).
Myo, I suppose a lot will depend on timing.
If STDC are ready to accept & store the material, by the time the MTS is completed and ready for commission/testing, it would be very convenient to test it (load testing usually needs something to be loaded & transported) by transporting all the spoil down to Redcar :-D.
My reading would be a good saving for our project, in not having to put vast amounts into landfill, as originally budgeted for. Plus, a nice boost to the community/environmental considerations that the company have been pursuing throughout the various stages of the project to date, so free material with a reasonable charge to STDC for the delivery.
lol nice thought Myo, but $500 mil might be a bit steep :). However, could be a nice little earner.
Also, would this greatly reduce any disposal costs that may have been budgeted for in the overall development costs?
When we have made our squillions, learn from this clown:-
