I would, however, agree that James could have put in a considerably larger sum to give shareholders more confidence.

I wouldn't read it either way. It's just giving investors more time IMO to make the necessary arrangements. For instance those wishing to take part in the REX offer would need to open an account with the chosen intermediary.

The latest time and date for splitting Application Forms (to satisfy bona fide market claims only) is 3.00 pm on 24 May 2024 and the recommended latest time and date for requesting withdrawal of Open Offer Entitlements from CREST is 4.30 pm on 22 May 2024. All other dates remain unchanged.

The Company has also agreed to extend the close date for the REX Retail Offer announced on 9 May 2024 to 11.00 am on 29 May 2024 which aligns the close date of the REX Retail Offer with the Open Offer and therefore provides the same length of time for investors to elect to participate in the Fundraising.

Prion, Nothing received but I spoke to them yesterday as they one of the three named intermediaries for the REX offer, and that was what I was told.

Yes, the official close of the REX offer is on Friday 3pm but it varies from broker to broker. HL, for instance, are closing their REX offer take up at 1pm on Friday.

The 16th is the cut off point for buying shares in the REX offer which II are participating in.

Hi Stephen, According to today's announcement the ex entitlement time was at 8am today. So that was the cut off point for being eligible but it's not the cut off point for buying shares in the open offer if you are already a shareholder. That is later in the month. The circular will give full details.

Hopefully by that time the company will be making some serious money.

For the stroke test; "The Company estimates that the total addressable UK market is up to £8.5 million per annum, based on the assumption that there are over 100,000 strokes per annum and an estimated customer price per test of approximately £100. The EU market is estimated to be c.£93.5 million, the U.S. market is c.£67.6 million and rest of the world markets approximately £51 million."

For AIHL: "The Company estimates that the total addressable UK market is up to £8.5 million per annum which is based on approximately 100,000 NICU admissions per annum and an estimated customer price per test of more than £80. The EU market is potentially another c.£46.75 million per annum, the U.S. market is c.£34 million and rest of World markets around £13.75 million."

Sorry, that should read about to be published....not yet on the website. Another point to note: "Ex-entitlement date of the Open Offer 8.00 a.m. on 14 May 2024" So if you haven't bought shares by now it's too late for the open offer, though not for the REX offer.

The open offer circular is out.

"Qualifying Shareholders are also invited to apply for additional Open Offer Shares (up to the total number of Open Offer Shares available to Qualifying Shareholders under the Open Offer) as an Excess Entitlement, if they have applied for in full their Basic Entitlement under the Open Offer. The latest time for application and payment in full under the Open Offer is 11.00 a.m. on 29 May 2024."

I did contact my broker, Halifax, earlier today and they said they are sending the offer circular to investors either tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

Tiger, Having pumped this share remorselessly and stated last month: "I almost guarantee you we will rise above 6 p tomorrow , if we don't than I will never post on here again" which it didn't, I am surprised you have the gall to keep on posting here.

But anyway, to answer your question, as to why the big buys are coming in well above the the offer price, I would imagine it's so people can qualify for the open offer or increase their shareholding if they are already invested in the company. The open offer is only to existing shareholders on a one to one basis though that could increase or decrease depending on the take up. So investors don't want to miss out. Yes, there is the REX offer which is available to non holders but that, at least at the time of the announcement, is only available through three intermediaries and closes this Friday (unless the time limit is extended by the company) so people might not be able to make the necessary arrangements in time

With the news of the last two days and todays sp action there are a few crumbs of comfort.

1)The sp actually closed on the day's high (2/2.5p) having opened at 1,5p on the bid. Clearly there are some still keen to get in.

2)The placing successfully completed with 138 million shares or £2.1 million accounted for.

3)If £6million is raised that would keep the Company going for 15 months at present level of expenditure though next year the outgoings will be higher.

4)Increased sales should give the Company a longer cash runway, especially if the NICE full approval is given for the stroke test in exactly 2 months from now as expected.

However there is one big hurdle to be overcome. The need for another £3.9 million to be raised through the REX Offer (up to 233 million shares)and the Open Offer (up to 143 million shares). Should this target not be attained then the conditional part of the placing (127 million shares) would lapse as would the Open Offer and the REX Offer and only the 11.17 million firm share placing would remain, equating to around £167,000. Then there would be an urgent need to raise funds through other sources resulting in even greater dilution for shareholders or worse.

I, for one, will be supporting the Open Offer but there are no guarantees that it will be successful.

I did a couple of dummy trades. 2.055p to buy/1.995p to sell. So many of the trades showing as buys are actually sells.

2.1p to buy/1.75p to sell. 6.5 million bought v 4 million sold. It seems the market has some confidence in the funding prospects for the moment at any rate. But still highly volatile.

Onlyprofit, yes, there's a bit in hand already but hopefully there'll be good news (NICE approval etc) by then.

So that's going to keep the company going for a while.
