I'm sure if it is, the SP will react accordingly. Speculating that the market may suggest it isn't. Which wouldn't align to my own thinking btw.

I think uncertainty is an upgrade on the current emotions of Avacta shareholders

Ginge - While I agree with the sentiment, it would be wreckless to suggest that there's an imminent rise in the share price.

There's a risk associated with purchasing this share but the Pro to this is purchasing shares at a perceived 'cheap' value.

Depending on what the company does over the coming weeks will determine how cheap that is, or whether you could have purchased shares 'cheaper'.

On any news, I don't see share price rising. It would be welcome for Avacta to announce sale of Coris and the proceeds going towards the CLN payment. Would that significantly raise the SP? No.

Would a partnership deal? Absolutely.

Are we close to that? Not in the next quarter, no. IMO.

A RNS stating the Coris sale and next CLN payment in cash would be very very welcome......

A partnership to show promise and longevity within the business and a platform to say, "hey, you can have a slice of the pie too?"

When you're dealing with something unprecedented, you won't be able to find a market to compare to.

Wyndrum, is that the basis for any company with a product they are developing. Surely you understand that IF is reflected in the share price and the intrinsic risk of buying any stock.

No one is saying anything is a cert, we're all debating the likelihood. It gets to the stage of asking what your point actually is here?

Yes, BP are aware, there are ongoing NDAs to support this.

If BP weren't interested, that wouldn't exist, if they didn't think it was worth sticking around they would walk away.

They, like is, see the value in that big IF.

They will have advance knowledge on the likelihood of that big IF and will strike accordingly if and when they see fit.

Otherwise this stock would have a value of £10 per share. It doesn't because we are at that IF stage.

But you know this, and yet you persist with the same argument for no other reason than...........?

Or the AVA6000 partnership which is in discussion (hence the big pharma NDA) as planned.....

In fairness the argument has always been (apart from one crank on X questioning the science) what was more important, short term cash or long term science. The short term was always hinged on the competence of the BOD while the long term science does it's thing. Thankfully we've now bought a good amount of time to let the science flow but still can't take the eye off the short term otherwise we're repeating what we've just gone through.

But then there's always the BP sniffing around with the NDAs and increasing data for AVA6000 and now AVA6103..............

ICE:- whoever partners with AVA6000 will not let AVA6103 slide. Getting the data ready AVA6000 as early as possible is paramount for this.

@mcsquares this is a fundamental reason to hold the stock.

Watching the arguments over the viability to turn a profit on the stock is an interesting one, ultimately all parties could be correct.

On one hand there are short term concerns over the viability of the business cash position which raise serious short term concerns, particularly from a traders point of view.

However,

On the other hand, if you believe the story and the science I believe you will be rewarded. Is the reward what is to be speculated? Who knows. That isn't in any of our hands.

Do you believe the science and potential is worth more than 40p per share? Do you think that the current market cap of the business reflects the potential, or lack of? Indeed, are you in it for the long term regardless of what the journey between your A and Z looks like?

What isn't in doubt, and maybe this is a big IF, if the story of the business is true, we as a collective want and need it to succeed and if it does, investors will be rewarded.
