The only way an acceptable takeover would happen in the next 3 months would be if the data from 6103 was substantially better than initial high expectations and that was met with an offer at a substantial premium of where the company is seen right now.

No BP is paying £12bn without data, Avacta wouldn't look for anything less than that imo.

Avacta will be happy to wait for that inflection moment and I think BP are happy to wait until then too.

And me as well, I can add more until then at this price.

I do feel this was the opportunity for some to partake having missed the space deadline and achievement certain bonuses.

The SP slide doesn't make much sense however there are plenty that would benefit from it.

The long termers here aren't interested in a couple of quick. Perhaps a timely trade to boost shareholding but this is nothing compared to what could happen.
