Silence has always been the harbinger of bad news with EDL, let's hope it's not a sign of things to come and the current board really is turning things round.

That would apply to any small operation, sadly it's something that EDL have failed miserably to do and yes the next update will tell us if they have managed to clear that hurdle.
The EDL website is is still claiming 4k TPM, something that as yet has never been achieved.

The demand for TZ coal has increased with exports to neighbouring countries, Europe and the far East increasing, I'm hoping EDL can at least make a contribution to those exports with the demand from their neighbours.

It would seem that TZ intend to invest $50b in transmission of power over the next 20yrs. $30b of that for power generation.
West TZ will need some form of generation due to the cost of transmission.

You have misread my post the reference to coal was for the generation of some not all of the short fall in energy generation.
Yes coal will be necessary for the infrastructure.
Coal will be needed for power generation for some years if TZ wishes to build it's productive economy.

The Julious Nyerere hydro scheme ( they've started filling the dam) will increase the electricity supply upto 3800 megawatts , currently 1500 megawatts.
The requirement for the country for the 60m population is 60k megawatts.

Well the traders have pushed the SP down since consolidation, let's see how long it takes for them to push it back up . The early results plus this morning's RNS tells me that there's more solid news to come in the near future.

The results are out early, I assume that it's an attempt to support the SP. More news in the new year would not be a surprise, the increasing income should have some effect on the SP.

T72, I agree with what you say but no further mention of intention to increase production would appear to be a problem other than hiring and floodlighting, l do realise that there are other aspects to increasing output.
What has been brought into the open is what a shambles this outfit has been, the removal of senior managers and suppliers plus some stake holders doesn't make for good reading, like you I would not be surprised at some more news before the year end in light of the new investments.

With a Mcap of £2M it's not exactly a huge investment but still encouraging.
if they have the demand for their coal then why has there been no effort or seemingly no effort to increase production via increased hours , is it that the washer is still not robust enough for the extra load?

The income from the stated orders is greater than any yearly income since production began in 2017, I would call that an achievement in the short period of time that the new management has been responsible for operations.

With my the increase/increasing price of coal, it would be interesting to know what the break even sales tonnage is now, as the only figure I can recall was 6k, I have no doubt that has changed.

In October (I've swapped hands,lol) due to the increased interest from potential customers, EDL were exploring ways of increasing production above 4ktpm, as the demand was in excess of 6ktpm.
With the increase in haulage ability and the washer performing to expectations the next RNS should be on the upside with some mention of contracts.
It would seem a fairly straightforward way of increasing production by increasing working hours , if the demand is there they have the answer.

SoS, you, as far as I'm aware are correct, apart from the warrants about 2 years ago at 30% above mid price.
My point was, regardless of the fund raise that hopefully the SP will be much higher than today and any discount would still be higher than the current price.
Perhaps the next update will reveal who will be running the mining operations, although that procedure could take more time.
You never know your September 8th might prove correct.
The date doesn't worry me as the content of the RNS, will determine the markets reaction.
Financial year end boost would be good, lol.
