For every Bushytailed there’s usually someone screaming “Glencore” and “imminent bid”. Most of us Uber eat drivers are somewhere in the middle.

And from memory copper margins were double that. More chrome will offset further price falls in pgm’s but copper in my view is still the future of this company for many many years. Just need some good news on output there and this share price will be a distant memory.

20% down in a month is a bit of a blow. I personally think the copper deal announced in December would justify the market cap of the company by itself and then some.

It’s very much the right metal at the right time. I’m surprised we are still at this so but such is life.

If an ii needed exposure to copper prices this company would be a good option. As private investors I don’t think we have the purchasing power to influence this much we are at the mercy of spot prices and sentiment.

It's a pretty damning assessment by TW. I'm out, I will take the hit and move onto new pastures. I think this will keep tracking lower for a while.

Derisk the cross deal!

Not a fan of acquisitions with convertible bonds but it could derail the croda deal.

Probably the only thing that affected the share price is a few people topped up triggering a small rise and a few others piled in thinking maybe news was on the way.

It doesn’t take much volume to move the share price either direction.

I can’t see the point of acquisitions and dilution. If our product is as good as it seems grow it organically instead.

It felt like we had momentum the last month and now it feels like we have become bogged again.

Nothing changes though. I have enough exposure already but on a risk reward for a new investor it should be a buy.

Share price is up but probably because the gold price is. A bit annoying. I will need funds by March so will start selling some down then regardless of what has happened.

I have watched this and listened to the investor meet interview. Harry seems very confident.

One of the questions on the investor meet presentation was as he is is close to the process what is his gut feeling on.how long this will take for closure? He refused to answer that, but on the pay dirt presentation he said weeks away from final approvals with signing of documentation shortly after and launching within months.

I have been invested here for what seems like a long time through countless delays but I do think this will complete this month. Its very close. Could be a trade here if I could put in more money but I think my wife would divorce me if I did!

Did don’t Harry say the banks wanted Tulu Kapi treated as a red zone for security even though he didn’t think it was? Well the security is already there to tear it as a red zone so this should make little difference.

The only reason the finance collapses is if someone uses this as an excuse to walk away (when probably it is fit another internal reason) or it affects insurance somehow.

My pain tolerance for Kefi is so high now I just roll my eyes at this and Ethiopia and just carry on. No doubt it will fall a bit on Monday but the business case is unchanged and so is the risk. This won’t be the last state of emergency in the lifetime of the mine.

Never begrudge anyone a big win they are few and far between. I hope some of their hard won money flows through to here.

It’s impossible to time an entry here.

On the positive side the company ran the May placing at the last possible moment and delayed paying bills so they must have been thinking completion was close and they could raise at a higher price.

On the negative this is Ethiopia, anything could happen.

I have said the same thing a dozen times in the last couple of years but this time I could be right!
