Have read Oldspursfan's synopsis of the possible sequence of events and having found it very helpful, it did leave me with a question that I've been mulling over.
How is the Divi finally decided upon?
Oldspurs states " 50 to 60% of sale proceeds will end up as a Divi "

Is there a general formulae for calculating and deciding upon it or is it all down to the BOD?

It was tipped in the Sunday Mail, forget the year but we were in Spain, lounging on sun beds alongside the pool when I read out the article to my wife suggesting it may be worth a go and could be a sound investment.
Informatively she reminded me of my other shrewd investments citing AMC and my failure to sell at their peak.
I cut the page out and chucked it in the suitcase.
Months later while packing to go away I found that page, read it again and decided to go for it and bought in.

A good while later I boasted to my wife that EUA had doubled in value to 2.5p.
She exclaimed
“ you need to play safe, sell half and take some profit for once , you know what happened to your AMC shares at 40p and now they’re 2p “
They just won’t let go will they !

Well, you guessed it - I did !
I sold half my holding.

Anyway, since those 2.5p days I have taken pleasure in slowly and regularly recouping my holding and an almost equal amount of pleasure in constantly reminding her of her financial advice !!!!

Have been buying EUA shares for the past 12 months using H.L. in a shares ISA - happy and protected.

However, my initial purchase, pre-suspension was through First Direct Bank and in our joint share account { wife and I ) ( not in an ISA) where they remain at present - unprotected from tax.

First Direct state they are still operating under Covid restrictions and are not doing BED and Isa and I will need to do this myself.

How difficult/risky is this for me to do, myself. They are in a joint share account ?

I will explore further on Monday but would appreciate your views in the meantime, please.

Following 6 weeks of lambing our last ewe is due on Thursday 18th March which would make it all the more enjoyable if the red dot arrived that morning.

Please put me down for the 18th !

My last top up was at 28p and at that time I was pleased.
That day, had I been able to buy at 21.470 I would have been delighted.
So today having asked myself has anything changed I could do nothing other than buy.
Delighted at 21.470.
