Ben, I like to hear what's happening at ground level, so keep posting please.
As we came into MAN on Friday evening, all of the stands in sight had a RYA sat there ...
16 or 17 RYA'a flew into TFS yesterday. The 19th Hole was doing the most business by far.
an update. There were 77 on that fully booked flight. A few had re-booked a couple of days before as J2 had cancelled on them. As refunds for a scheduled, that is not cancelled don't happen, who is the winner? Today, I've watched em -coming into land - and Ryanair is the company who is keeping the show on the road. So .. who knows? Could add loads more, however I'll just let a.n.o. live in his own world.
lti, certainly not akin to the 3 year old asking if you can tell the "true story" of how dinosaurs became extinct, or whether you have found the notes to study, so that he can become a palaeontologist. Maybe we lot all got it wrong, fantasy and magic is where it's at, these days.
With you all the way Johnbri4. I'll give you an update on what's happening at both ends - MIA & TFS - when we go next week and the return leg, on the 7th, and then we're flying into AGP on the 21st - pure co-incidence that there are 14 days in between.
definitely wouldn't be applying "limited creative ability" to what I'm witnessing. It says 8+ on these boxes, he's 3 and some grandparents are fascinated to learn alongside the children.
You two are wearing me out. Anyway, we should all be investing in the next childrens craze, cos my goodness me, this Jurassic World of Lego, is quite something else, and it's taking over my home. You two carry on, I've had a request to find notes that a 3 year old can study, to become a Palaeontologist. Yep, times sure do change.
lti, we have the FAANG stocks in our best performing funds.
john, everyone I know - well those still participating in the rat-race - in the UK, is working flat out. Difficult to reconcile with many headlines eh? 1981 was the last time I was in Majorca. The hills in Tenerife for us, in a week, just for the little man, as C19 messed up all the other summer trips for him. 28 days til we're over the sea from you. Hey and work will be there when you're not, so try and take it easier, and stay in the good books.
stagecoach, I reckon the majority of us on here, achieved it all ourselves (without parental assistance) but times have changed, and not for the better in some respects. We're to blame ... well I know I am. What we considered a first time buy no longer seems to be the case. We've done the cars and holidays routine, we're onto "grown-up" stuff now ... like big gardens - ha!
LEVIS, would rather have the 28c any day of the week. How's your sons property search going in the big smoke? Mine has now found the "perfect garden" with a house in - different strokes and all that. Halifax offering is far better than Lloyds. Thought they'd be on a par, but no. Has professionalism gone out of the window totally? Emails from both that were forwarded to me ... hmmm.
