Lb, yes, just a general post. I quite like what Jonathan Mills said though. I don’t want Ed to be under the illusion that shareholders have so far been treated well.

I hope it’s for the right reasons, not for his own personal gain. Lol.

Hi Sooz. I note he also mentions “….supporting the growth of the Company and its assets.” It is general, but obviously states growth of assets rather than selling some off.

I think we must take his comments with a pinch of salt though. See what happens.

I still feel he will or at least should address shareholders in the next day or two.

Hi Roller. Ed says this on his LinkedIn page:

“Today is my first day as Chief Executive Officer at Beowulf Mining plc. Beowulf has a portfolio of high quality assets in Sweden, Finland and Kosovo and is focused on delivering metals and minerals for the green transition. I am very excited to be joining the team and supporting the growth of the Company and its assets.”

I was foolish to expect an RNS today, to confirm Ed has actually taken up his post. Maybe we’ll receive an update later today, or tomorrow.

It’s what’s occurred since Kurt’s departure that is equally as puzzling.

It’s already been almost 17 months since the concession was granted. A decision within the next few months would be good.

The Sami has appealed, I’m not sure if the Court’s decision is final, or whether the Government would then also have the chance to appeal a decision against it.

Yes, surely the Government can’t lose, but supposing it did, would we have grounds to then sue the Government for its mishandling of our application? This considering the findings from the KU report and Kurt being lied to about our application’s progress. All to consider, albeit we couldn’t afford the legal fees. 🙈

Thankfully the appeal is against the Government and not against BEM. Lol.

Oh yes, the Sami always know what’s going on with BEM, so they must be loving what they are seeing at present.

Yes, true, we don’t know why Kurt departed suddenly, but if Röstin were the remaining good egg, he’d have made the effort to keep shareholders informed after Kurt going, instead of cutting us off from any further information, re Kal especially, without explanation, and giving no clue as to why the six month review is required. So for the contempt he’s showing us all for our loyalty to BEM, he’s the villain. And we both know that it doesn’t require much effort at all really to keep people updated, more so considering Röstin has temporarily stepped into the CEO role.

Suzy, it is odd that Röstin came into BEM and now Kurt is no longer here. A bit like hiring your own nemesis, without knowing at the time that your demise would soon come as a result of the appointment. Thinking about matters, I can see no reason whatsoever why we haven’t completed the Kallak PFS. We undertook the Scoping Study, positive economic results for KN only, and then have stopped doing anything else.

It’s hard to fathom after waiting nine years for the concession to get the ball rolling again.
