But the good people of the UK have come to realise, via all the evidence of the last two years, that this Government cannot lead its way out of a paper bag. Civil war. No! More like relief that severing ties with our European allies didn't happen. Time for tea.

Two years plus to sort out leaving and the Government can't even do that. Might as well stay put and receive support from the rest of the EU, going forward. Make our relationship better not worse. We may also then lose our unfortunate Brexit xenophobia tag as well. Backsliding into the dark ages of good old Britannia ruling the waves is frankly quite sickening. Better together, sharing ideas and continuing the free movement of people is the only way to develop. We can still be proud of Britain, but for all the right reasons. Instead of the Brexiteers blowing their own trumpet, it is appropriate that they learn to play it first. Which, in the time since the referendum, they have failed to do. And the trumpet is rusty. It needs a bit of French polish! Bon chance.
