Not at 0.61p though, when the previous was at 2.06p. Had Bowie not mentioned the fundraise a few weeks ago when the sp was well above 1.5p, then surely the discount wouldn’t have been so grim. Unless he wanted it this way. He could have mentioned the potential share reorganisation and discount together in today’s RNS. With a higher discount price, even above the nominal value of a penny, still a good discount to what would have been the prevailing sp, so no need to mention the share split at all then. But no.
Has anyone considered that Bowie may have engineered this on purpose to suit an interested major investor?
If he hasn’t, then again, it’s a mark of total incompetence. Either way it’s a fu.kin’ disgrace and so is he.
My view only.
Before you comment then Sooz and begin any sniping, please read the RNS x 2.
They are worth reading and you owe it to yourself to do so. Let me know what your thoughts are.
“……The Capital Raise has also been structured such that existing shareholders will be preferentially able to take part in the Capital Raise and therefore mitigate the impact of the discount."
Pmsl. He’s trying to make it sound as if we should be grateful for this noble action. What about your useless bargaining power Ed, to strike a deal at 0.61p?
You should be ashamed of yourself and take a pay cut equivalent to the percentage discount you’ve given, then after we’ve had the Court decision on Kal, fu.ck off!
F.ukin’ wa.nk RNS releases.
SJ, I don’t think “ouch” is strong enough. 0.61p over here. Bowie has had six months to ensure this didn’t happen. And we are still keeping Vardar running while we almost go under. What?
As I said yesterday, a spanner.
Bowie is a complete spanner.
So that means you don’t have to vote against the share reorganisation. Lol.
He’s a worry for sure, so a good day for Sweden now they’ve joined NATO. Safety in numbers.
Aye, that is good news.
You do right Roller. Don’t expect too much and then anything good is a massive bonus. Palm Beach sounds great. Good that you can get back there and enjoy it.
Best wishes.
It’ll be interesting to see if the extended date of 27 February remains in place. I would trust that at some point the Court will put its foot down.
Hi. This is the latest post from our LinkedIn page, posted by BEM around 3 hours ago:
China dominates global #graphite production accounting for 93% of capacity for anode materials used in #EV batteries (source: Fastmarkets Metals and Mining). Grafintec Oy aims to provide a future supply of anode materials to the EU from its GAMP in the GigaVaasa area https://ow.ly/bkbZ50QHIiF
News from Vardar is overdue really. I don’t just mean earmarking more cash for them, I’d like to know what the project status is, so separate news wouldn’t go amiss. ‘The’ date will soon be upon us, so I’m trusting no further extension will be granted by the Court, otherwise it’ll be a bit too much to feel this isn’t completely one-sided.
Bye for now.
Afty.
I like that.
Yes Sooz, it seemed longer ago than January, but I struck lucky checking the last Kal update first.
The supernova is mind-blowing. Difficult to fathom in reality. Seems like something from a dream.
Sooz, yes, that info was in our Kallak project update on 22 January 2024. It’s right at the bottom of the RNS info. Here’s what it said:
“The Company understands that the Court will consider the Government's submission alongside that of the applicant and is expected to reach a decision during the first half of 2024. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.”
Thanks Honeybun. 🙂
Good hunting Troaj. 👍
Andy, thanks for the info. Only a couple of days extra then, not including this weekend. It’s good if that’s all it is, and because it’s only a very short extension, it is difficult to see the timescale being extended yet again.
Good that Troaj, cheers for sharing.
