I think they simply want to rebalance their portfolio and cash in some excellent profits made so far. If I had a few million bob invested, I'd take out a third (which recoups the original investment) and let the rest of the shares run.

Especially if the tracks run past Scallywag. The best thing would be if Telfer was slightly lower than Scallywag and Havieron: heavy loads would simply roll down the hill! :-)

To brighten up the day: what's your guess for the (inevitable, these days) UT trade? I say 12.50p.

At the moment, it's highly speculative as it rides on the Covid-19 fear. A lot of pharma companies got bloated beyond belief on the back of it but the bubble must burst.
I find it more reasonable to invest in companies that are more derisked but still have excellent growth potential. In the software/tech area, my bet is BGO.
Of course, it could be the case that CTEA will get a government contract, in which case it would jump like hell. It's unlikely though.

I reckon a large buy order is being filled at 12p. If lots of shares were available, one would be able to buy below 12p but the current ask is above that level, despite the bid being much lower. I think it may be Green fool trying to close his short opened at 12.2p!

Isn't it reassuring to see a few trolls on the BB? It shows that GGP is gaining more traction within the wider community. I reckon some people hate to see a share that went up 600% but wasn't on their radar. Motley Fool has a large group of followers. Its note on GGP has attracted a few.
Luckily, I missed all the nastiness here on Saturday night and wouldn't bother to read Green Fool's posts either.

I agree. I believe that Fortune has something up his sleeve but that something is being postponed by Covid-19, etc. Things outside his control, in any case. That's why we've been waiting for the news for so long. I have no doubt whatsoever that it is a great company.

I don't know whether the stock is being manipulated but it is weird that the SP hasn't recovered yet. All sorts of crap shares have. Are people applying a discount because it is SA-based? Not sure that's the reason. The most likely explanation is that the company is still viewed essentially as a vanadium producer and any premium due to the involvement in the VRFB market hasn't been applied yet.
I believe the company will publish very decent annual results but that won't move the dial. We need news about the future direction.

That isn't expectation too: +3p per month, so ~30p by the end of the year. I was wondering whether that would trigger massive selling. On the other hand, if someone sells at that price, someone else will be buying, so perhaps there is no difference between stopping at 30p for a few weeks and stopping at 6p, 9p and 12p we've just witnessed (and I expect the same to happen every 3p, especially since Numis and co. are likely to move their targets by similar amounts.

How many holders will crack and sell their shares before we reach 30p? Everyone is saying 'hold for gold' etc. but how many will actually hold beyond that level?
Imagine sitting on 3.5m shares and seeing you paper profit reach 1m pounds. Would you sell?
It's only a theoretical issue for me as I have less than 200k shares (oh, I'd love to have that problem!) but there are a few people who will really face that conundrum.
How easy or difficult will it be for the SP to climb further at that point?

I agree that the potential is fantastic here and that's why I bought BMN shares back in March at over 20p and then managed to average down to just under 16p. I was expecting the market to wake up to this potential but it hasn't happened yet. I would have a more bullish view if the shares were still at 9p. I'm not sure why the company still hasn't said anything about getting back to full production levels, etc. Perhaps the situation in SA w.r.t. Covid-19 is less clear.
But you're right: the market will pick up at some point and it's likely to be sudden. In a way, it's fortunate that I have no additional funds to invest, so I have to stick with the shares I have. I wouldn't transfer from one share to another; neither GGP -> BMN nor BMN -> GGP.

Does AIM100 really matter? Do investment funds use it to drive their decisions?

BTW, I think your username is very appropriate, given that you've managed a fantastic average in GGP!
I wish I had held my nerve when BMN went down to 3.5p several year ago. Stupidly enough, I sold my shares (having bought them at 5p). It would have been a ten-bagger.
So, perhaps it's better to ignore my advice. :-)
