The next set of results is expected to cover these three shallow holes. Note that the RNS on 23/06 reported a high concentration of sulphides in BPL036 and BPL037, so these two are most likely to show tasty gold grades, with continuous mineralisation starting very close to the surface:

"- 235m of continuous sulphide mineralisation has been observed in drill hole BPL037, with sulphides averaging 5% and individual intervals up to 30% sulphide. BPL037 finished at 257m deep.
· 201m of continuous sulphide mineralisation has been observed in drill hole BPL036, with sulphides averaging 5% and individual intervals up to 30% sulphide. BPL036 was drilled to 239m deep."

We may get an early RNS about visible mineralisation in the cores from deeper drilling but that would be just a nice bonus while awaiting more precise results.

Of course it isn't, that's not the point. The point is that GGP share price was bobbing up and down at ridiculously low levels for ages before a sustained rise after hitting high grades at depths over 600m. Should ROCK hit high grades below 250m, a similar thing is likely to happen here.

Today's RNS shows there is gold even in the shallow sections, which gives more confidence in the future results from deep drilling. Note they have intercepted non negligible grades even in the water hole!

That's true but what depth were those holes drilled to? The main life at Havieron sits at a depth of 600m,band drooling closer to the surface didn't show anazing grades. Hence the perceived similarities. Then the fact that New rest used to own the two tenements in the past.

the more it resembles GGP. Even the SP behaviour following RNS's. Hopefully, the SP will be replicating the beautiful 'ladder' formation soon.

We're going to get a steady stream of news over the coming weeks and months here. (I know it annoys many a trader to read a reference to 'months'.) I'm looking forward to a steady rise, with an occasional spike to get our hearts pumping a bit faster.

No cross-ramping, just pointing out that there's life beyond GGP. Surely, it's okay to mention another goldie, as many people here talk about Artemis etc. It's definitely better than the senseless bickering going on sometimes on this discussion forum over the weekends.

Just tested the next resistance levels: 2.3-2.4p; hence the drop. Give it a few minutes to climb back to over 2p.

Mind-boggling graded were not expected here: this is from shallow drilling; actual gold is expected deeper, below 250m, with results expected over the coming months. Any results > 0.5g/t from shallow drilling are fantastic here because they increase the confidence that deeper drilling will find a juicy lode!

Great news! One thing I'm struggling to figure out from the RNS is the percentage actually belonging to Bushveld rather than the consortium. It doesn't seem to be stated explicitly.
I like the financial arrangement: it looks like another good deal for Bushveld.

I like the way my phone auto-corrected 'mineralisation' to 'monetisation'. An auspicious mistake it was !

While awaiting exciting news on SW, there's some more good news for another Aussie explorer - ROCK. It looks like it really is a land of plenty (" where women glow and men plunder... Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?").

The other day I was wondering why the shallow holes reported in June stopped slightly short of 250m (235m and 217m, I think). Perhaps there was some indication that the last few metres already intercepted the richer lode expected below 250m? Or perhaps it's just a coincidence; I'm not sure RC drilling allows an easy identification of mineralisation levels without a full lab analysis. With diamond drilling, they'd be able to see monetisation straight away.

Fantastic news! There is lots of gold there. I can't wait to hear the assay results from the remaining shallow holes and, more importantly, the deep drilling results.

There should now be enough pressure to push the SP up in anticipation of these results. Onwards and upwards!

I know one shouldn't compare apples and oranges (although apples and pears are interchangeable, n'est-ce pas, Nick?). However, here's a table showing SP progression of another tiddler - Greatland Gold - which has turned into a much larger explorer. (I've copied the table from a post by SpadesAspade on the GGP board.) It shows what good results and progress can do to the SP.

Note that last year the SP was moving in a range similar to the current range of ROCK's SP. Look where it is now. Of course, it's still very early days for ROCK but, in the current gold rush climate, our progress may be sped up considerably. In any case, patience will pay off handsomely! There are lots of very happy GGP holders around, and I'm convinced there'll be as many chuffed ROCK holders soon.
