What is the current feasibility limit in terms of mine depth? I know there are mines operating at depths greater than 1500m but would that be feasible at Havieron, given its soil type?

I wouldn't mind having Beetroot's problem: "oops, I've just made a few million quid but could have made three times as much". I'd simply reduce the number of my private islands, and perhaps switch from beluga caviar to Marmite for a few weeks.

No advice here but lithium is so passé. I mean it's useful for mobile phones and Tesla cars etc. but the big (green) future is in vanadium redox flow batteries for large-scale energy storage: they're clean (vanadium electrolyte lasts 20 years and is then recycled and reused), safe (no fire hazard), scalable (just add more electrolyte to the tank to increase capacity) and cheaper than other energy storage solutions. Unlike lithium batteries, they also deliver a steady power until they're completely discharged, and they don't deteriorate with every recharge cycle.

Have a look at the BMN forum, where you can find lots of information on that topic. BMN are both a vanadium producer and a provider of vanadium battery solutions. As usual, DYOR before making any decisions. Vanadium prices have been rising but they are way off their peak and the rise has been nothing like that observed in gold and silver.

I don't mind name-calling, although I don't indulge in that game myself, but I think you've done enough of that for now, so please stop. As I said earlier, I'm sorry if you took my enthusiasm as investment advice but that was your own mistake: everyone is responsible for their own actions (and, in this particular case, I also made a loss).

Personal attacks lead nowhere. I'm just a normal person like you, I don't purport to be an investor (and certainly not one written in capital letters), I'm glad when I get lucky and sad when I don't.

I was going to report your latest post as a personal attack but I think it may be better to reach out to you directly because the kind of distress you're showing is often a sign of a gambling addiction. Please don't take it as patronising, I really mean this is a possibility. I'll re-post here a relevant message I posted a while ago on REDX forum. Have a read; perhaps you'll find it useful.

To be fair to Beetroot, I don't think he is stupid enough to have sold all his holdings prematurely. I suspect he sold them to crystallise the profits and minimise the tax (if there's any, although he couldn't have held all his shares in an ISA) and has probably been buying the shares back via a more obscure investment vehicle.
