The only reason for the SP to linger around 25p is the two 8,144,366 buys due today. The MMs are trying to fill them at that level. Once this is done (say around 2pm), we should be off again. I 26.7p finish it better. I reckon Dodgemeister's observations are spot on and the controlled 1.7p rise per day is still on the cards.

Having said that, I maintain my prediction of 46p by 25/09.

Are we getting a repeat of the last three days: +1.7p at close and a few big buys worked in the background?

We should really stop poking fun at Beetroot. I reckon he's fundamentally an honest guy and the sale of 160m was just to test his eyesight.

I meant some of the "smaller" trades (500k, 1m, 1.5m) could be warrants. All the biggies (8,144,366) have been buys for sure.

Probably the last few batches of warrants being converted. We should be done with them by the end of this month.

I think a massive order was issued on Monday with a limit price of 24.55p and it is being worked in 2m quid chunks. Some of those went through below 24.55p, so there's scope for the remaining ones to go through above that price but I'd expect the price rises to be controlled until the whole order has been filled. Not complaining if "controlled" means a 7-10% per day.

I think we'll have at least three 8,144,365 trades today: there's no way the real volume so far is < 50m.

We won't know. Perhaps Beetroot's 160m provided the much needed liquidity to create extremely strong support in mid-teens, and that has underpinned the current rise? I don't think he'll be crying, having made a few bob in the process.

I wonder whether we'll hang around this level for a while today. When another 8,144,365 trade came through yesterday, I did the maths and figured out that a 2m trade for that number of shares would amount to 24.55p per share. These trades went through at slightly lower prices over the past two days but I wonder whether someone asked for shares to be bought in tranches of 8,144,365 throughout the week, with the limit price set to 24.56p. Of course, it may all be a coincidence...
