I concur. Sell at 4p, then hope for a retrace. I doubt I'll hold my nerve until 3pon that retrace (if it happens at all); I'll probably jump back in at 3.99p! :-)

Not sure gold will reach 2000 dollars next week but the all-time high (1911 dollars or thereabouts) will certainly fall next week.

I agree with the target but not short-term. In terms of placings, the company would be stupid not to take advantage of the rapid rise to raise fresh funds, not necessarily for SNG001. The SP may carry on rising now but I believe it more likely to fall to the 120-140p range until the next round of news. The presence or absence of TR-1 notifications next week will be a good indicator.

Indeed. One strategy which seemed reasonable but didn't yield great results for me with Mariana Resources a few years ago was to take a short ride and cash out after a 20% rise, then wait for a fall to buy back in. The expected pullback never happened, and so I ended up buying higher, only to sell again after a 20% rise, and so on. After a few rounds, I managed to almost double my initial investment. Had I sat on my hands instead, I'd have made five or six times more!

These targets are based purely on the current dynamics of the price of gold. A very good RNS next week could send it higher, perhaps beyond 3.5p.

Agreed. 4p is also my short-term target. The target for next Friday is 2.6-2.7p.

That's an impressive profit in a short period of time but you must have taken a lot of risk to get there, and be extremely lucky with your punts. I prefer a less risky strategy, even if it doesn't bring such stupendous amounts of money in the short term.

Yes, I'm a recent arrival. I'm aware that it used to be Papua Mining but haven't looked at that chapter of the company history in much detail.

Could you please clarify what the current financial arrangements are? I appreciate that the company resorted to death spiral finance in its darker days but the recent fundraising for deep drilling seems okay and should be sufficient to carry out the planned work.

BTW, please tell me that the company has no connection to Mr Lenigas. His presence, even in the background, is a red light for me. (Where Lenigas goes, death spiral follows.)
