In the absence of some encouraging news-bites from the company and its brokers, frustration will continue/grow and lead to further price erosion. The company needs to demonstrate some loyalty to its long-suffering shareholders.
Hi Almo, in the event of an MBO, the company would become private and loose its LSE quote. All shares would be purchased at a price agreed by the Board and approved by shareholders at an EGM. To be successful, the price would need to be at a significant premium to the current price.
Why do you predict a 25% Decline from these levels?? The shares are already selling on a p.e. Of about 2. New areas of growth in Deep Cleaning, Thermal Imaging etc are providing high margin potential. Am intrigued by your prediction!
The Chairman and four other Directors bought shares last week. This augers well for the Half Year results due November 19th. Indications point to progress in the main business sectors. Would confidently expect a return to the post rights-issue price of 43p
I believe the company has curtailed costs significantly to match reduced demand. Additional funding is not therefore an issue. A current p.e. of 6.5 is undemanding, especially for a market leader. The two recent insider purchases testify to confidence which is based on knowledge.
Some speculate a price of 25p. Why??
This equates to a pre- rights price of 48p.
Why would the price drop from 84p approx. to 48p?? This represents a p.e of less than 1.
Ludicrous !! Many here do not seem to understand the numbers.
It is very likely the Government will provide credit guarantees for businesses. This will greatly cushion bank defaults from this sector. Given high levels of personal savings and a strong property market, mortgage defaults should no appreciably increase.
Hi Folks, would appreciate views on the very high volumes in the past three days: Dublin + London. Heavy sales at these levels are all loss-making! Is there a view that BOI has more corporate debt than is healthy. Am at a critical decision-point and will appreciate any informed information and views.
