Yes the delays are frustrating but you have to ask why the delays.
Could of gone to market with one manufacturer start selling small then build up capacity.
But I think the delays is because the spit test is so good, once the government started to see the results they spotted a way out of this crisis before a vaccine.
They have probably started the whole moon shot campaign on the back of this test, and want all manufacturing and scale up of stocks in place before they announce “world game changer.”
Hence reason for silence from Avacta, Government and Media.

Avacta has Not offered S-S results yet.
Plenty of cryptic clues out there if you read the RNS’s.Just a few more days when these results should be revealed. Big Al has already said it exceeds high end.

It’s a good thing the government are doing due diligence it’s makes finished product gold standard.
Better than all these inferior tests on the market now.
We have all got this far don’t bottle it now.

I agree,we should help out small business, but multi-nationals the government just paid their staff wages for 6 months come on they can afford £5 tests.
The more multi nationals that pay the better for Avacta, Government would already be pushing for a massive discount.
Take airlines a few years back Airlines had a fuel levy tax put on them and just pushed it onto the customer.So if someone wants to fly in a pandemic the Airline will just add price of test to ticket price.
Same for Sports stadiums.

I agree Big firms should pay but the is plenty that the Government will pay for.
