Halfords short too but have had some recent deliveries that will be sold if they have not been already.
The future for Halfords is very, very bright in the light of this!

how this works? Shapps announced it last Friday but I have heard nothing since.
Clearly Halfords will be a tad busy............. But they are already as there is a bicycle shoratage in the UK now due to the UK Governments promotion of cycling to and from work!!!!

cleared out most of the bike stock in the entire country. I am not joking. Try to buy a bike on line............
Halfords are struggling to keep up with demand and have it seems less than 30 models at the main depot.
Many orders now beng satisfied by stock in the stores that is being shipped to where needed.
Halfords are still getting deliveries as in the last few days some new models have become available and some that were "temporarily out of stock" have re-appeared. Trouble is as soon as they come in they are bought. In fact many are being pre-ordered by customers if you look on the site. Now most counties are back to work one presumes more stock will be arriving.
Heaven knows how much £££ Halfords have taken for nbike sales in the last 6 weeks.....................
Also HMG are introducing $50 vouchers for bike repairs!!!! Good bye tyres, inner tubes, peddals, seats etc...... LOL!

The bid is the lowest price you will get your your shares.
The ask is the highest you will pay for your shares, unless you want extended credit.
The mid is half way between the two.
The % change is based on the mid.
So the % change is not strictly accurate.

You need to look in to how the stock market operates.
The bid is true, the ask is moved around by the mm's. This skews the % change..

LOL! The actual bid price is the only one you can truly trust, as I hope you know.
The ask is moved up & down by the "2nd hand car sales men", or should I say the MM's (market makers).
Thus if the bid is down 7% then today you can be sure so far more have been sold than bought.
