Totally illogical sp fall here. The sp was 8.7p last Friday. The b.o.p.d had been announced weeks before @ 10k bopd. Logically the sp was "correct".
Brent has gone up from around $35 to $41 AND they have announced today the bopd is up to 12k. The only negative is the ceo has resigned. Big deal.
IMHO the sp should be UP, not down 8% !!!!!

I expect big share price gains here provided Brent keeps North of $35.
Nice that 52% of the rest of this years oil production here is hedged @ $53. Just excellent. I read Saudi & Russia want to keep Brent under $55.

I would think the Halfords board can hardly believe their luck frankly.
I mean with the Prime Minister and entire Government promoting cycling to work, then with millions furloughed one of the most obvious ways to get out of the house and keep fit, have a good time is..... cycling.
Then we have the fact that the UK Government are also fast tracking whether electric scooters should be legalised and if they are what rules there will be for where they can go, cycle helmets etc... In my opinion there is NO WAY they will keep them banned because so many people are breaking the law every day already. They will have to legalise them so its just a matter of what rules, if any apply. I should think they will be allowed on any cycle lane and on pavements, but not in the road. Elec scooters are ideal as you can pick them up as and when you need to. Take on train, tube, bus, taxi.
It's just not now for all this, it's for the forseeable future so the future for Halfords could hardly be better.
These are a buy and hold for when they re-instate the dividend which is on the cards IMHO. They are a very good long term investment as well I think.

What will make them close it?
A lot of confidence in the future I presume. It is there so they are covered both ways I think.
Maybe they borrowed the money they lent to PMO and the Co' they borrowed it from needed the insurance against something extremely bad happening occured........... like a World wide virus......
I don't know the in's and out's of the loan but maybe the short will be closed in stages. So once say a third of the money paid back by PMO then a third of the short closed etc....

This is no joke, the Government is fast tracking electric scooter trials. It seems obvious that they will be legal to go on pavement cycle lanes at minimum. With ranges in excess of 30 miles I think they will become a very common site taking people to work.

with waiting for the results (that came out minutes later!) and fed up with a major holder continually selling when the sp looked like going over 30p. I got 29.5p and made a few quid. I see it dropped after the results. It is unusual for results to be RNS's when the markets are open. Some market players don't like this for obvious reasons. I get the impression from the amount of trades and the few RNS's that seem to come out from HUM that they are out of favour with a lot of investors and it's easy to see why. Run like a family business with annoying share holders I think. I'm thinking avoid to be honest. Far better oppertunities out there at the moment, no least with Brent crude @ $38 and looking to go up IMHO. The oil Co's with cratered share prices are on the up..............................
