I agree with you but think the sp should be minimum 8p as it was 8p with same production and Brent crude far less per barrel!
The sp is plain daft IMHO. I suspect Brent (currently $40.30 spot price) is going to move up as the cuts will IMHO be finally filtering through. Personally my gut feeling is Brent is going to move up over $43, and in the next week or so. Then the shorters will have some decisions to make. Also our 12K bopd hopefully will be edged up to 14K bopd. Massive difference in revenue........

It seems the very recent fall in the sp is very likely to be the short position of Millennium International Management LP, which we can see by clicking on the link below. With 52% of all production hedged at $53 until end this year and Brent now around $40 (and I think about to rise more) I think they have made a mistake. Pharos hedge position is very very good if you ask me. A lot of Co's have hedged around 30%, Pharos have hedged over half their entire 2020 production, and at $53.

The way the price of Brent, that I follow just about every day, has been moving up on the slightest whim makes me think the EIA report of a small crude oil build will be ignored not just now but over the coming days. i suppose the beijing virus hot spot could screw things up but a hundred cases or so in a Country with 2 billion seems rather low!!

Thanks for that. Some Co. shorting was obviously one of the potential reasons for the sp fall of late.
Poeple posting it was to do with x RNS clearly did not make sense as the last meaningful RNS was over a month ago and since then the sp has visited 24p. Obviously the oil price was also not the culprit. A short in fact to me is a bit of a relief as I was getting concerned. With luck the price of Brent will increase getting more investors on board and making the Company shorting change their mind. I can easily imagine brent $43 or more after the EIA report ealier. Although it was a small crude oil build I think the market will be thinking along the lines of it's going the right way at last. I have got the impression the price is waiting for any excuse to rise frankly.

The more Brent goes up the more money Pharos make so quite why the sp has fallen the last few days is fairly stupid.
People post about all sorts to explain, but all that newa has been out a month and recently Pharos was 24p (8th June I think).

I agree with you. The big drop today hopefully was a one off. If so the price now could be an incredible bargain. We will see tomorrow. Maybe a big bounce.

saying todays drop is due to performance is talking rubbish as performance news has been in public domain for over a month.
Indeed just a week or so ago the sp zoomed up to 24p!
So Brent zooms up to $41, most oil Companies up 5% or more and Pharos is DOWN 8% !!!

so clearly deliveries are on-going. I think they sell extremely quickly.......... may be making a fortune!
