and Royal Carribean have ***ALL*** fairly recently informed the markets of excellent booking numbers. So either they are lying or the market is in cloud cuckoo land??
IMHO it is highly likely we will get a trading update from at least one of these huge Companies within days and the sp here will rocket up past the £8 and beyond.

Last time we heard from CCL they were talking about, on the one day, record orders, which infers the overall picture was extremely healthy. If they can I'm sure they will be updating the market and hopefully we will be back above £8.00 in short order. The investment houses that are short CCL are taking a huge gamble if you ask me, considering the news in generel from the big players in the sea cruise industry of late. They can't all be talking about excellent booking numbers for no reason!!

Good afternoon. In all seriousness now the UK government seems to be serious about allowing fracking it seems to me Companies in the USA may well be interested in the UK potential. In the USA using fracking to obtain gas and indeed oil is quite common as we know. They simply must have a lot of experience and expertise using fracking to obtain gas and oil. To me it seems likely USA Co's will be having a look at the UK potential, and presumably investing in looking for gas or oil here now. The UK needs to become self sufficient as we know and USA investment here I'm sure would be welcome.

One wonders if USA Co's will be sniffing around now it seems the UK Government is serious about fracked gas. Food for thought.

In fact looking at the chart the highest it has been is about $96.
Seems to me the fuel costs for the airlines has come down a shed load in the last few months.
Add to that the pent up demand following covid (which we seem to forget about) it seems to me the airlines ar making a nice profit now! The CEO of IAG has said that as well. What more do the market want?
