I'm having a good day. The RNS from IAG says they expect 3rd quarter profits to be around 1.2 Billion euros! Plus they say there is NO EVIDENCE OF A BOOKINGS SLOWDOWN IN Q4 which is just SPLENDID!!!!!
The issue here which the market has TOTALLY FAILED to take on board is COVID'S decline to almost nothing. I mean, remember COVID??? The market seems to have forgotten it's effects HAVE GONE FFS!! Does the market really think Companies like CCL and IAG are NOT going to come back (they have, obviously)??? I mean have people suddenly decided not to go on cruises and decided NOT to fly anywhere?? What a joke the market is.

airline's is being to some extent snuffed out (for now) by Lizz and Kwasi. What a joke. However they will either amend the budget or get removed from office by the Conservative party so this lull, I think will be temporary. Time to buy.

I believe the pre-tax loss was expected to be around £177 million.
They say it will be between £170 and £190 million, so extremely close to expected.
Q4 operating profit was expected to be about £474 million.
- They say it is expected to be between £525 and £545 million, so a fair bit more.
Outlook. From the RNS:-
"easyJet expects to fly around 20 million seats in Q1 of FY23, up more than 30% year on year. Load factors are currently ahead of the same point in FY19 and yields remain robust."

I don't hold EZJ but in view of the above it seems to me the sp will be moving up significantly.
We will see.................

Clearly JET2'S sp should benefit from this as EZJ must be main competitor!

To me obviously the Sea Cruise Companies had major work in getting the ships, crew, entertaiment etc..... back.
***BUT*** covid has faded.................. and they have got the ships back in business..
The sp was £35 a share just before covid.
All IMHO.

Covid is obviously what smashed big Plc's values.
They tapped the shareholders to stay afloat whch small investors like me want to avoid! (I just got caught out myself the once with CCL's raise of $1 billion, frankly I thought they already had raised shed loads).
So here we are. Cruise Co's and Airlines are "back on their feet".
Logically, over the next say 18 months we will be around "nornal".
Just look at where these Co's were before covid...................................................................... The sp's now are MAD.
To you question my opinion is IAG shares will be North of £2.00 in 2 years time and CCL will be North of £15 a share.

Why on Earth would they not with covid no longer in the news. Totally obvious people who used to book and go on cruises are back, the same way the airlines are back because people now feel flying is safe from covid. To me it's firking obvious.
