"Speaking on the sidelines of a CEO roundtable event in Brussels, Michael O'Leary forecast more consolidation in the aviation industry, with IAG best placed to buy Portugal's TAP ahead of rivals Air France-KLM and Lufthansa.

He expressed surprise that Air France-KLM had bought a stake in Scandinavian SAS.

He also reiterated predictions that low-cost rivals Wizz Air and easyJet would fall to consolidation, with easyJet snapped up by IAG or Air France-KLM, or both, and Wizz Air getting bought by Lufthansa or a Middle Eastern buyer."

And the price of Brent crude, which is used to make avation fuel is now sub $86 a barrel.

Easyjet results earlier apart from record breaking results they said "Moving into the 2024 financial year, booking momentum is continuing".

Call me mad but I make JET2 shares a buy!!!

EIA report released a 4, not 3:30, sorry.

It came in at an oil stocks GAIN of 10.176 million barrels, one of the largest oil stock gains I have seen.

So the oil price is currently DECENDING. Brent now down to $86.80...........................

Unless the war escalates I expect the oil price to go lower still, making fuel cheaper to buy.

Benefits Airlines, Cruise Co. companies etc,,,,, Reduces WORLD inflation.

Maybe the market will wake up to reality tomorrow?

The API report last night in the USA showed a stock GAIN of 12 million barrels!!!

LOL!! The EIA report at 3:30 this aftermoon will be interesting. If similar the oil price could plummet.
