If the sp of Petrofac has been brought down by the war and percieved concequences they have now receded. Brent crude was $84 on 5th October (war started on 7th). Having hit as much as $93.50 it has now plummeted to $82.50, BELOW where it was before the war. IT IS NOW LOWER!!!

Petrofac shares may be about to bounce BIGTIME..............

However the UK Government oversees all gas and oil produced in the UK.

This leaves the possibilty that, in extreme circumstances, like war, the Companies involved could be made to sell only to the uk, or banned from selling to unfriendly countries.

Of course, any potential bidder for Petrofac will be aware of Fitche's credit rating uplift, see the current sp and I assume conclude Petrofac is massively undervalued. Current unhappy share holders might be tempted to accept a decent bid for the Company....... £1.00 a share??

I think I would accept £1.00 a share as things stand.
