One observation I have made and Harry may know more about this, is that having now watched 100 plus races I am always concerned when a horse that I have backed is stuck on the rails three quarters of the way back in the field. Invariable it cannot make up the ground even if it makes a late surge, I am talking about fields of 10 or more horses. Whether this is the jockey's fault or the horse is just not responding I don't know but in some races when I see the horse stuck on the rails with the leaders escaping I know it has blown it even if it is the fastest horse on paper. It seems most of the races are won by horses positioned from 2-6. If it is the jockeys fault then it maybe worth not backing horse's with certain jockeys on board.
One for more value and Frankie on board is at Saint Cloud 3:15 EAGLE TOP @ 9/1 e/w. He has been entered numerous times but pulled out on the day. I think John Gosden may have lined this race up for him all along. Not my words. DYOR and GLA.
Good morning all - well done Philipkeets for your yankee. I got Tawdeea and hawksbill and usually look at Ben Linfoot. I do JPW racing only weekends but they had a bad day yesterday. Phil I would be interested in your betting strategy if you don't mind. You can email me at emblaze1@hotmail.com rather than post here if you want as I can return mine and we could collaborate?. GLA
Good morning all missed Harry's late tip yesterday as I was in a workshop part of the job hunting in the out placement I have, so gutted as I could of had a good day rather than a loosing day. - 2 for Friday NEWTON'S LAW well handicapped and could take a hand in the finish with a useful claimer taking 7lbs off FAITHFULL MOUNT ran a good race on his reappearance and the booking of Buick catches the eye. GLA
Good morning all - Harry I like it when you give a tip with some text ie with Tangolan as it gives me an insite into how you are thinking on it's merits of doing well. When you give no text just the horse I never know what you think and have to check on all the websites what info I can get about the horse to decide is it worth chancing. I really liked your Tangolin and the research I did backed it up so was confident to place a bet on. Oscar Rose I will keep an eye out for. Do any of your tips today stand out for you?.
good morning all - horrendous trip in to work due to the floods here 2nd last day at work and had to come in as have some drinks in evening with colleagues. Time To Reason Leo 18:20 backed down from 16/1 to 9/2 so has some support but a big field 17 runners. So I have done a small e/w in a double - I am still proofing these bets to see if there is a pattern of big swings of support and where they eventually are placed. GLA
I did say Hamish Mcgonagain was backed from 22/1 down to 7/2 fav the smart money knew and I wish I had put more on it. Looks like I will have the first loosing day for 8 days but only by £50 and still have two horses left so could pull it out the bag yet. Thanks for your late tips Harry.
Morning all - yes phil tipped by AH today and on the top 10 movers list. So is Hamish Mcgonagain bath 20:40 moved from 22/1 to 6/1 the top mover. May be worth a small e/w punt and Kalick bay has support for the 3:35 Car 8/1 GLA.
