Tricky... assuming is true HMSO breached loans convenants, surely then HMSO must have found financially more convenient breaching the convenants rather than absolving them... You got to have the full insider insight of this event which none of us has.

Yes, that's what I believed too... If there was a cash cash divi now (I mean the company had produced more money for it) we would have been now at around 37... Obviously no holders like their share going down... If you are a trader you might play with that, if long term the company seems to be on a good footing... As you say then a lot will depend on how the sector reacts to external pressures. I guess now it will depend how those on the fence waiting for good entry opportunities will react

So really, today's share fall is due mainly to lack of 2022 final dividend and very little else.

Tuffnells are not stupid. They are confident they got the law on their side and it's only a matter of how much they want to squeeze out of DX

When there is a legal challenge of any kind to companies or individuals, a "robust" answer is the normal, cliched response no matter whether you end up guilty or not... The word 'robust' is just a pre-emptive safeguard to whatever might come next - so until there is a know detailed charge these are just formalities
