Newmont are obviously massive, but no-one chucks £9m away. We still have 30% of Morobe and if it is a viable project, it could be 30% of 100k-500k ozs pa. Of course we don't know, yet, but drilling may have already begun. We do know the drilling targets are 'within the Wafi Trend where the 16Moz Wafi-Gulpo gold deposits have been discovered' and trenching has given us '139 g/t Au over 2m' and 'Up to 28m @ 3.9 g/t Au
(inc.12.6 g/t Au over 8m)'. It could be Newmont are only interested in Morobe, but don't discount the others. I think it's fair to say we have a pretty good chance of at least one of the JVs coming off, and if this happens a £9.5m market cap will be history. Now that the funding is sorted, risk/reward here isn't too bad at all - 3.5p floor and bags of potential.
