If that's his purpose in life, be content with the knowledge it is as exciting as the posts it attracts, thus validates he is alive and breathing, even though contribution to the quality of life is minimal. And of course, be content with the knowledge he won't benefit from developments. He is not invested and not short, so we can only conclude he is lonely and his profile on plentyoffish.com hasn't attracted the sugar mummy yet.

Galenicum launched their Stop & Go product, as RNS. It's already on sale. The point about closing deals (perhaps an excuse coming here - dependant on your view of BOD) SOH has stated he is relaxed about the time it takes to close a deal, because his no going to chase the deal down at the risk of weakening his hand. He simply focusses on the deals as and when they progress. Premier/Knighton, CII, are quite significant developments announced in Nov/Dec, and Hansen/DSM development with OpticBiotic platform is more significant than some people seem to think. Perhaps you'd like the BOD to sell-off the family silver now just so they can announce a raft of RNSs, just as the bank balance is about to get a boost from the existing deals.

Possibly a revenue issues if we are to really build upward momentum. However, it's quite possible we could see a significant change in sentiment if,say Knighton Foods announced they were supplying one of their household named customers with SlimBiome. Anyone of them would probably do, because just one household name would almost certainly be a national UK retailer. Lower margins, but huge volume and similar products in whatever food sector it may be would be forced to follow. Knighton Foods have been very proactive in the SlimBiome PR, so they are doing their bit. And as far as I know, they have been at full pelt with SlimBiome production for some time now.

HLH, Germany, PharmaBiota, NZ and Australia, TATA went in to production with LPGOS/products November, If you mean UK retail shelves, then just GoFigure. Hwever, OPTI plan to have a number of existing products signed by the following partners on sale in the UK via their own e-commerce site this year. The new relaunch and branding of GoFigure, complete with new flavours is expect soon, possibly as early as February/March. Boots well-being section will perhaps OPTI products by Spring, some think earlier, I'm not so sure. Gallinicum, Spain, with their "stop &go" brand. Knighton have been at full pelt with SlimBiome production for over a month. I'm sure there will be CII news and more info on recent Probiotic platform, which must have taken a number of PI's by surprise. I'm sure we will get a more comprehensive commercial update during the FY report expect late April.

We can only speculate at this stage. One thing is for sure, Chr Hansen, DSM and OPTI have collaborated. OPTI have been given access to LGG for a reason. OPTI have enhanced/improved LGG, a world leading probiotic. It is natural to expect there will be a progression to utilising this improvement in existing and or new probiotics. Will they be with Chr Hansen, DSM or both? It's not too much of a leap is it! The fact OPTI are presenting the abstract at ProBiota, suggests all 3 parties are very pleased with the results and want to use it to promote their wears, and demonstrate to key decision makers they are at the front of a revolution in probiotics.

It's difficult to say that today's RNS means for OPTI. IMHO it is extremely positive. Some conversations I have had are confused (or I am) and seem to think OPTI are strengthening Chr Hansen's LGG strain at the detriment to OPTI's LP-LDL. I don't agree with this view. LGG is the leading probiotic, and OPTI's science has been able to improve on it. OPTI will now be able to shout from the roof-tops about this significant development at ProBiota, where key decision makers will be in attendance in their droves. Essentially, OPTI are service notice they have the ability to improve/enhance existing probiotics with their science as well as produce their own. I think it's called, "having your cake and eating it." OPTI relationship with DSM is strengthening and are active in a number of areas OptiBiotix is leading in.

TATA/LPGOS are on track. SOH said he is not going to give running commentary on it. He also said cash is not an issue, money is coming it. I see no reason to doubt him. I did suggest an update on the pilot production, but got short shrift. TATA/SlimBiome, is of course delayed due to the new improved formula. I guess this opens up new opportunities for TATA and perhaps more product tests were needed. I have NO info suggesting I am correct, it is just my opinion. I think we sometime forget OPTI BOD is a very small team, dealing with 30+ companies. BOD is spread very thin and I guess this in truth may also be part of the perceived reason nothing appears to be progressing. Make no mistake, I am as frustrated as the next PI and I have a min 5 year view.

That's the problem of expectations. Ignore historical RNS days or frustrate yourself even further.

The answers are many reasons; from multiple applications for the same territories There is then a a bid process if you like (OPTI in the box seat) MN are like oil tankers turning in a canal - too many decision makers lined up MN also like to run a production/taste/texture tests, etc SOH is also on record stating they don't push for a deal, they allow the prospective partner come to their decisions in their time. The idea is to ensure OPTI BOD don't appear desperate for a a deal.

Liam - The placing issue has raised its head a number of times. SOH has been clear; OPTI do not need to raise any funds for existing projects. In fact, OPTI have been approached by II wanting in via a placing and he has refused to further dilute existing shareholders to appease demand. There is one caveat to a placing. Should an investment opportunity similar to the one that presented itself in the form of SkinBiotix, now SBTX, then I would be very pleased if there was a small placing. However, given the BOD are frugal, any such opportunity is likely to be similar to SBTX, which of course, proved outstanding business and a very short time. Yet OPTI retain 42% interest.

Last reported cash was �1.60+m NOT �6m, which I believe is 42% of SBTX value on the books. Reported loss of �1.5m was primarily down to IP writedowns associated to SBTX IPO, not operational loss, or physical cash, if you will. PLC costs are c�1m pa with cash being generated at increasing levels through 2017/18 via 8 commercial agreements, with more to follow. Will the SP be higher in 2018? I would hope so after 2 years of stagnation. At some point the wider market will wake up to the huge commercial progress ALREADY MADE, with huge potential unwinding today. There are plenty of triggers that should see renewed excitement over the next 12 months and beyond. It is best to ignore anyone's price target. Better use SOH valuation based on industry standards, 15/20 x earnings.

Roger - the short version; OPTI have cancelled several block of OPTI shares. The cut-off date for anyone wanting to challange this has passed (26th October at Manchester's chancery). Essentially, this is an admin phase ahead of OPTI publishing their plan for the in-specie divi (SBTX) DISTRIBUTION.
