Dan was part of the old team and his main distinction during that stint was his silence.

I am concerned that we are in for another 2 years of platitudes with no forward progress. I have already sent Dan an email congratulating him and to remind him that we need a clear unambiguous way forward. No more confusing statements like we are not mine builders, yet behaved like a mine builder. I am truly fed up. If this lot can get the SP back up so that I can take my money out would be a win for me.

Don't you think hearing they will never be British because they are not one of us is telling them that they are not wanted? When people face hostility, they band together for safety. Birds does it. Fish does it. Perhaps they would integrate if they weren't hearing your hate, if they felt welcome. Your Britishness is important to you, yet you expect the newcomers to abandoned their heritage the moment they land here, even in the face of the hatred towards them from people like you. Why should they give up their heritage when you don't make them feel welcome?
