I would rather have the new team who re-rated the SP 100%, than have the Buffoon who decimated it from 40p to 5p and told the market that 30 cents is a great TO price. I have lost count of how many times a bid has been predicted to be imminent. Madpunter, I have Irish and Scottish ancestry amongst others. So I know that people on these islands suffered. The Highlands clearances, the Irish potato famine, having their lands taken by the English, and forced to migrate. But, there is no way you can compare what African slaves went through in the new world to what poor folks in the UK endured. The slaves had no freedom to choose, to pursue their dreams, to even prevent their children from being sold. At least poor UK people had their freedom to choose, to immigrate to the colonies to seek a better life. The slaves did have that freedom of choice.

So, there is no comparison between African chattel slavery and what poor folks in the UK endured back then.

I will have to take your word re Jamaica PBOW. 2007 was the last time I went there for vacation. My current view is based on what I read in The Gleaner online.

However, I think the other countries I mentioned are still valid.

I am a fan of history. It is kind of hard for black countries to develop after centuries of slavery and colonisation during which the fruits of black labour went to develop Europe and the USA and funding the UK industrial revolution. Blacks were slaves, not lab coated scientists during the period when Europe and UK were developing. They didn't get the same money from Britain that was given to the former slave owners when slavery was abolished. It will take them time to recover after what we did to them. Indeed, their birth rate is growing while developed societies are looking at a demographic time bomb due to falling birth rates and having more old people than young people.

Bottom line, they would not be here if we hadn't enslaved and colonised them. Many came here during the colonial period to help rebuild war damaged Britain. Slug just wanted their labour and for them to be discarded once their work was done. You are poison Slug. Focus on having more kids if you are able to find anyone who would allow you to impregnate them😆
