Rock, that is insightful, thanks. You are right that the direction is influenced by who decides. All we can do is see the medium term rather than short term. We get wedded to the sp and undergo deliberations when to sell. I have held since 7p and I have gone through it by holding all that time. What an evolution and recovery. Not many companies that will rise from the ashes but Tullow is one. Post RBL and expected $60 oil Tullow will be plus 45p- 70p range.

After the US deal and based on the prevailing assetss value I calculate 23p! Why am I wrong?

Managers/directors are the usual suspects that grow fat on promises and missed deadlines. Look at the executive line up, accountants and old boy network.
Clueless other than experts in deceit.
Director pay increase is standard practice I fear.
Thankfully not invested with this bunch of consummate experts. Don’t expect that Greater Buchan will ever be delivered as you think. Deep pockets for PIs.

Tullow in good shape and reacting with majors.
Shackles hopefully cast aside at the RBL allowing next leg up.
Meantime general market conditions at play, positive, which I have mentioned before that will provide short term positive movement.
32p has been our staple for 1-2 weeks now and confirms the floor.
Oil already up again.US stimulus and vaccine rollout at play. Brexit is the biggy really affecting FTSE.
Suggest big week ahead.

What negative news is there to drive it down, none.

However, US vaccine news, oil demand demand up, oil price i to i up, general market rebound as Brexit deadline has been extended. (Seems to be progress made as I read two sticking points rather than 3), much greater chance of deal.
So I am glad I have a position in Tullow.
