Again courtesy of DC if you select application in the tick boxes to the left you then get more info when you select the licence area.

I think I would have noticed if it had changed state before yesterday. My reading of it is that the 30 days is really to allow for an appeal if application is rejected so I'm expecting it just to be the time to send the offer and the recipient to accept it so licence can be issued.

Can't get a quote to buy..

My expectation is that this rectangle will turn pink in the next day or two and we will get an update on Star Zinc via RNS. Someone is getting authority to take our zinc so we should see some dosh one way or another :-)

The identified resource only covers a tiny area within the exploration licence. Look at the diagrams of the resource on page 20 - it shows it is about 300m.

Page 20 of the below report shows an outline of the large scale exploration licence and where the zinc resource sits within it.

Additionally, if you look at the resource definition for Star Zinc (on the GLR website) in the corner of one of the plots it shows where the resource sits within the overall large scale exploration licence. This looks like a match for the area covered by this small licence. I'm now more convinced than ever that this licence covers the Star Zinc zinc resource.

The area surrounding the small area of the licence we refer to is the the large scale exploration licence. This licence is in the middle of the Enviro Processing large scale exploration licence and surrounded by the large scale exploration licence on all sides. This has been determined from the two licences as shown in the mining cadastre.

I agree - had a quick scan of the JORC esrlier to check it.

It is worth noting that the only materials listed on this licence are manganese, stone and zinc.

His reference to updating the market included hitting massive sulphides I believe.

JLP as the owner of the large scale licence or Zopco may be involved. The Star Zinc licence has been discussed on this board before and folk have apparently emailed Colin and got a satisfactory response. This may not be the SZ licence. Either way the BOD will be aware of the discussions on this board and have chosen not to issue an RNS.

Hole 3 RNS seems to refer to defining the porphyry SYSTEM wheras as holes 1 and 2 tend to refer to the porphyry deposit.

The following statement comes from 27th Oct RNS
"We have a number of opportunities for the Racecourse Copper-Gold deposit, being the most immediate in our planning for resource addition and testing of the ratios of copper and gold at depth. The porphyry is open ended in all directions and as such represents the potential for significant additional resource tonnage. Within the acquisition exist a further porphyry and also some epithermal gold potential which we intend to carry out reconnaissance work either concurrent with or post the initial drilling programme."

Is there any further info on the Epithermal Gold Potential referred to here? It appears distinct from the porphyries.
