Labelling of the drill holes:

Hole 1 and 2 begin BRDD - I assume BR is for Bushranger. Does DD denote diamond drilling?

Holes 3 upwards are labelled XXBR-003 etc. Is there a significance to the labelling? If DD signifies diamond then does this denote that there was no decision made on the type of drilling or is this an indication that official labelling hadn't been assigned as they may not have been required? I'm just curious as to why we have two different sequences for labelling our series of drill holes.

Iceberg I agree that it looks like the position of drill 3 has changed as drilling NNW from announced position doesn't appear to give them anything. Are they trying to prove CONTINUITY to depth and test the width while proving how much further the strike goes rather than just testing the width at depth. I haven't figured out if it is positive news or not. There does appear to be near live satellite imagery of NSW available but I couldn't figure out how to get the images I wanted. I could see the Black Springs area but couldn't see the drilling equipment so I think I wasn't using the near live aspect correctly. Someone on here posted near live satellite images of the area previously.

Anyone got access to decent, near live, satellite imaging of NSW to have a wee peek?

There is speculation that the location and orientation of drill 3 has changed from the announced intention.

I don't know if the following statement means that the drill is pointing NW in which case it would be drilling in the opposite direction to that shown on the drill plan. "The hole is being drilled at -60 degrees towards the north-northwest" 
Is this an attempt to do a similar drill to BRDD-20-001 but further up the strike?

Is there a particular interview that gives this info? If there is it sounds like it would be worth another listen.

The issue of GLR shares to SFR was seperate to
the rest of the agreement. The sale of licences won't have completed yet but I don't see a cause for concern. The date for completion is given below
"The latter of:
1. 30 Business Days after execution of the Licence Sale Agreement; or
2. 5 Business Days after the Condition Precedents are met,
or such later date as is agreed between the Parties."

"Settlement is conditional upon:1. The parties having executed the Share Subscription Agreement (which has been done);2. ministerial consent for the transfer of the Included Licences by the Botswana Minister of the Ministry of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources ("Ministerial Consent") ;3. all ASX and AIM regulatory approvals;4. approval of the acquisition of the Included Licences by the Competition Authority of Botswana (or confirmation from such authority or from either party's Botswana legal counsel that such approval is not required) ("Competition Approval") ; and5. duly executed transfers of the Included Licences in the form required by the Mining Act under which a 100% interest in the Included Licences may be transferred.  

If the Ministerial Consent and / or the Competition Approval is not granted by the Long Stop Date the agreement shall automatically terminate and cease to have effect and no Party shall have any obligation or liability to any other Party.

I totally agree we want the assay results to get the best picture possible. Quite a few folk were antocipating XRF results.
Assay results:
12th Jan RNS stated
"Samples for geochemical assay will be submitted to the geochemical laboratory on a progressive basis and it is anticipated that the first samples from drill hole BRDD-20-001 will be submitted before the end of the current week."

25th Jan RNS stated
"Core from drill hole BRDD-20-001 is currently being split into half core samples and the first shipments of samples will be dispatched to the geochemical laboratory this week."

Last Sat interview gave us the expectation that we will have a decent model in 6 weeks.

Here's hoping we get the assay results for hole 1 soon and they have decent copper and some areas of reasonable gold and we all prosper.

I wonder if they are worried about how the copper results from XRF would go down and are hoping they have hit some decent areas of gold that will be shown in the assays. Considering we had been given the impression we would be told the XRF results its a bit disapointing that they haven't said anything even if it was to acknowledge they were going to wait for the assays on hole 2.

It sounds like we won't get XRF results from hole 2.

Is it possible that AA have made an approach. I don't know what the likelihood of something like that is. I'm a bit surprised we haven't got XRF results for hole 2.

Assuming JLP have their zinc circuit up and running towards the end of the year does anyone have any idea of the quantity of xinc they are likely to use? I'm just wondering if JLP is likely to have any interest in the end product from Ka****u?

I agree. I said a week or so ago that if I were AA and assuming they are interested in aquiring this I would try to get someone "assisting" with
the drilling (both to have an input and to gain as much info as possible).

I sort of tried to demonstrate with an example... your explanation is much better. I take the point that my 24p per share used shares already in the market.

I like the of all of that and if they could complete it by June I'd be happy :-)
