The class action should be no surprise to people who have been following Arc. I was surprised to see Anglo release this detailed info (but probably shouldn't have been) .

It's naive to to claim it has no relevance to ARC- what way AA sees it play ing out I don't know. It does however make me wonder - and you may be surprised by the direction of that wondering.

Investing is a lot about speculation both positive and negative. You partake in that speculation as well, although probably to lesser degree than others.

I agree 'things are happening' and that is positive . How quickly they will get to signatures - no idea - it could be tomorrow and it could be in 3 months.

Ther are some MINING licence applications in the cadastre. The areas covered don't appear logical(ie some cross the Anglo application area and ARC's area). I find it very difficult to believe that there would be enough data or funds to go straight to large scale mining in 3 areas. I suspect (but don't know) that these applications are holding positions for JV transfers. I would appreciate if someone who believes these are INTENDED to be mining licences could explain to me how they think it might be funded. I realise Anglo may have completed large amounts of exploration previously but I find it very difficult to believe that they have enough data to go straight to mining. Understandably Zambians have an issue with large international companies doing what appears to be never ending exploration. Mining licence applications may be politically advantageous but I can't see how they would be practically implemented.

I expect so. The funds would not be in place to apply for a mining licence. However, the area it covers is interesting!

That looks like the change I expected tonsee when they first started changing the Handa licence.

Afrimin, not convinced of the score with that yet. What makes you think the southern Zaco licence wil be transferred? It hasn't been set as a bidding area so I assumed it would be renewed in the JV. Handa wasn't due for renewal but it did need updating in some way for Zamsort. Considering all eyes are on the cadastre they may not wish to reveal the JV company name yet.

I'm quite happy to say the licence application is being progressed or is not complete. It is unclear at the moment what the intent with the change is.

I don't know what the end result if the licence changes will be, but it isn' t right at the moment.
The Handa application covers the Zamsort areas. You don't have 2 licences covering one area. Something still needs to change, not sure what.

It also has a 2014 date on it. Is this part of the verification of licences as a result of the cadastre clean-up? It could also be a holding position on that licence until a new JV application is ready to go.

The application has included the Zamsort area again, which is odd. I expected the modification to be in order to sort that area out.

GLR are attending Indaba 2023.
The Sunday Roast boy's are touring South Africa and Zambia prior to them attending Indaba 2023. If I recall correctly they will be viewing JLP, GLR and AFP projects. Zambia is encouraging JVs for small scale miners, in order to get investment to allow projects to progress, they are also looking for investment in plants to support small scale miners.

Presumably the info this interview was delivering is the fact that Dave Caterall of Kalahari Metals/ Cobre is working with KAV.
I suspect the corporate transaction he is referencing is the Kanye listing , although I don't quite see how that would work at the moment.
