The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Considering KAV have had 2 trips to Botswana to relog the drill core I thought we might get updated info on the rocks found in the drill core (obviously not the gold). It is however reassuring that KAV are main market listed so everything will meet the minimum FCA requirements.
It has gone rather quiet. As far as I'm aware they never released full details what was in the drill core (rock wise)for i10. They released some info but I don't think they released the full info even when they were talking about IOCG.
Anyone know who Braha investment are? They have applied for the licence above KAV at Ditau and also appear to have imported rig parts into South Africa.
I find it a bit strange that KAV have an office in Gabarone, considering the distance from any of the projects. The KAVANGO background looks like something that comes out of storage for these occassions, so perhaps a shared office. I assume that they are examining all the historic drill core at BGI.
Have the party goers returned?
More uk-Zambia mining deals to be publicised?

Hi Swakopmunder,
Ben has mentioned Steve Smith, an ex Anglo guy a few times. Not sure if these photos were from Zambia, Botswana or Zimbabwe (or indeed somewhere else). I assume one of the projects they are looking at is in Zambia, hence they could time things to coincide with the president visiting Mimbula mine, where Peter Wynter Bee is chairman - looks like a bit of a jolly but presumably helps with networking in the industry.
He did a detour for a couple of days to Zimbabwe on the way out to Botswana in August. He said was in Africa end of Feb/ beginning of March. Was he not in Botswana at least twice last year? Interesting that this trip for coincided with the party for the opening of Mimbula mine.
Yep but Steve is driving the jeep. Steve was in Zimbabwe when Ben went last August so it could belong to either of them. Can't say 100% that we have seen it before but I think we have. What did you make of their jolly to Mimbula?
Hi JP,
My post should have said about 393m. I have no geology knowledge but I thought it might be quartz with something causing the discolouration. As far as I can tell the august RNS extended the zone of interest but assays on the complete length weren't performed, whether that was because the xrf showed no readings of interest or because the assays had already been sent off prior to the zone of interest being extended.
Anyone able to identify the Orange/yellow rock about 293m in figure 3?

And of course the KAV directors are interesting - some having had historic involvement with Arc. The FCA is taking a greater interest in how social media can be used to manipulate share prices, which must benefit both main listed and AIM companies.
Manx,
Don't fret I haven't abandoned you. Waiting for the next exciting installment from Arc - JV this week you say?
KAV's latest RNS is interesting. KAV is also 'special' as it is main market listed. Their LSE board provides much of interest.
