Hold on just a second there Gordon it’s not often I feel I need to pull you up but I think it’s unjustified to say that water is coming in faster than the jet pump can remove it, that’s totally unfounded the jet pump can remove 250 barrels per day, and even with only 40 barrels a day being removed, the column has been greatly reduced

Cant grumble at that, increase flow rates, JV a priority before rig back on site.

Roland actually says that he intends to ramp up the pump to peak production of 250bpd at 13.52 second in the presentation video. if 40bpd works out to be 60 meters then 250bpd would mean at peak rate they could (based on previous flows) shift 375m meters of fluids in a day.

Of course we must think about the well, collapse, steady increase, potentially high flow rates at lower level etc, I am just thinking we may be closer to an answer than we/ I originally thought.

On the presentation day 11th October (Day 11 of the well) it was likely that the column stood at 720 meters, and so if we are running at previous rates, Monday would be empty. the day after the presentation onwards allows for a 5% increase in production (minor compared to the 250% increase that it could do but that only meant it would be cleared over the weekend. Just my thoughts, of course there are lots of varying options.

Just my thoughts but at the current rate or perhaps a 5% increase, the well could be emptied of fluids by Monday, sooner if the jet pump was ramped up as was discussed by roland.

Not sure if these columns work out in line below but hopefully you can see some sense in it,

Looking through the presentation we could hear news by Monday 23rd that the column is cleared,

This is on the basis that Roland has been able to reduce the column at the rate he has done previously.

I had hoped for an RNS this week. If not this morning, providing an update whether a reduced column of liquid and increased flow rates of gas had been achieved.

If not, then the silence observed prior to the investor presentation will be telling.

Five additional weeks wait is a ball ache… if after another week or two, they do decide to get the rig in.

0.8 would be a hell of an entry point for newbies if it actually got down to that level, bearing in mind that would require a selling price close to 0.7 I think I’d have to buy some more.

SS, if it takes 2 to 3 weeks to potentially remove the column and I say potentially, we will still have water ingress from zones one to four, why then, should we not get the rig on order in the meantime to plug the zones? With continuous water coming in that takes up space that gas and condensate could utilise.

They’re clearly not going to drain down a 900 meter column of water when it’s continually being fed from the four other zones otherwise they would have done it by now. Roland made a point of saying that the pump is capable of removing the water, but not if it’s continually replenished? Why then not just get the rig on order and back to site? We talk about delays in India, but we have to admit some of them are due to decisions not being made within SYN.

Boris, I think we are in for a bit longer than 2-3 weeks unless Roland can drain the Cambay. My best guess is they will need to re-plug the zones 1-4 are then re start 5 and 6. that being the case, Roland said they could get a rig in 30 days, add down time to plug and restart, say 1-2 weeks I think we are possibly looking end of November for revised flow rates.

Whether we hear about the JV before that is anyone guess.

Zag... I can 100% confirm that the JV has no bearing on flow rates.

Now... on the other hand, flow rates may have a bearing on the JV :)

Interesting that Roland mentions that the primary Blue chip company is local, very local for that matter that they know the geology and that's why they are not worried about the flow rates. Cairn?

Roland has held out for shareholder value, he did advise that they wanted money, not just the wells or at least that was my take on it.

Water in the well is a concern, especially if Roland is talking about waiting a couple of weeks to RNS future flow rates? By the sounds of it they need to plug those zones asap but as Roland says 30 days for a rig.

Share price holding, several buys gone through and MM's still willing to buy millions.

Roland: "A joint venture is not dependant on flow rates".

That's 80 minutes to get an RNS out if its a JV, flow rates or pretty much anything else, otherwise its a presentation about CCS and potential wells. like 90% of questions will go unanswered.

Think he should have given himself another week or so.
