I notice today there are 9 MMs rather than usual 8, although we did have 9 for a long period over previous couple of years.
The new one (don't think it is actually new) is listed as fcap (all lower case) and the price info listed as "MO". FCAP (all higher case) have been around for a long time.
What does the "MO" mean? Is it just a glitch?
C'mon Art, get some news out!
Cheers
I check every few hours for the production figures and we have nothing yet.
http://pipeline.wyo.gov/OperatorsFrame.cfm?Oops=1 select 'Southwestern Production Corporation" then click go find. When the next menu appears, I find the easiest route is to click "Units" then select relevant oil field (Barron Flats) and then "Retrieve Production" but there are numerous ways if you have a play yourself.
@Largegin I done alot of Seaeye stuff at the start of my career. Really enjoyed it. Dive Support was always fun, worked on alot of the Technip boats.
@TreeFern it's a small world! We have probably crossed paths in Murphys, Schiphol ;-)
Yes there was hundred of feet mentioned. My calculator isn't big enough to calculate that one!
6 feet depth across a 51 sq mile area would give 1.5billion... Surely it has to be more than 6 feet? Maybe we're sitting on the Mother lode!
Doing some sums - the 1.5billion (ish) figure would be in place in a field 51sq miles but only 6 feet of reservoir.
Obviously an oil field isn't a perfect rectangle and will not be a uniform depth of oil throughout but is it possible the 1.5billion (ish) is seriously conservative?
It came across the wrong way, as I'd had a couple of pints, but that was my point last night.
The entire board is just full of the same stuff day in, day out. Daily recycle of information. I appreciate that there's only so much we can speculate about when FArt hasn't posted any news...
It's great when everyone is contributing but it's tedious reading the same stuff constantly.
Anyway, let's hope we get good news soon and we can all plan the £5 party :) I'll bring the cakes
