Great news that the gold price is going up. However, at this time CMR is not producing any (maybe in qtr 4). Other mining stocks are going down. Is this just hype? or has CMR got potential for me to invest.

Nearing the 30% mark!!

This has been a very well run company in the past building up a library of 1000's of hours of childrens entertainement programmes. The problems seem to have started not long after the company bought classic media. Having said that, there is a lot of upside potential in this company now. The intellectual property rights alone make this company valuable commodity. As always DYOR

Did anyone read the article in yesterdays (5.10.08) Sunday Times regarding water meters? This just goes to show that this is a burning issue and this topic is on everyones lips. It looks like that this company has a very promising future. Here is the article below for those of you who didn't see it: From The Sunday Times October 5, 2008 Price rises to force cuts in water use Jonathan Leake, Environment Editor Ministers want householders to cut their water consumption by a fifth using compulsory metering and sharply rising prices. Hilary Benn, the environment secretary, aims to cut use by 30 litres a day per person by 2030. He has said the current daily consumption of 150 litres is unsustainable and should be reduced to 120 litres. The proposed cut is the deepest in the history of the water industry, reversing years of rising consumption. It is likely to mean sweeping changes in the way water is priced and paid for, including compulsory metering, water labelling for “wet goods” such as washing machines and dishwashers and incentives to restrict flow from taps and showers. Such measures would probably be applied selectively at first, mainly in areas already short of water such as the southeast, Cornwall and East Anglia.

A very interesting and informative post by MH112. I agree with his sentiments.This company has the potential to be a player. The recent increase in the share price just shows what is capable of this company. Reasons for the fall in the share price yesterday was due to some profit taking on thursday but I feel the markets were in a lull due to to the outstanding issue with the american bailout. There was more interest in banking shares yesterday. Now that this bailout issue has been finalised, we hopefully should see the markets rise on monday. Thids maybe the time to start topping up as mentioned by MH112. We are on this journey together. Good Luck and DYOR.

When I saw that big sale 1.8million shares and the and the share price dropped my bottle went a bit and sold some of my holding just over 190,000. Never mind. We shall live to fight another day. like everyone else there is confidence in this company I feel.

There are a lot of big risers in small companies today.This must be the general market. Imagine if any good news came out. I am just fainting off thinking about that. That is probably years away. But we can DREAM...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

If there should be an rns then now would be the time to announce. Unless of course there is something better. We can only hope as you say.

mhw2 - You seem to know a bit about this little gem of a company. Do you feel there is anything imminent as there seems to be lots of BUYS?

It is nice to have fellow investors who also feel there is a lot of substance to this company and not all hot air. The price and interest just proves this.

It looks like those sellers will be kicking themselves if they have to buy back in at these higher prices. All for a QUICK profit. What do you think?
