Totally agree mercman, we already know when Bernie did the last presentation there were already multiple companies interested in Kodal, it’s just a case of Bernie ensuring he maximises shareholder value and chooses the right deal, which i am confident he will seeing as he has a lot of skin in the game.

Fully agreed mercman. From the q and a too it is clear he has been approached by multiple parties more than likely for a JV so as he has so much skin in the game it’s in his interest to take it to the moon!

We also need to remember outside of bougoni we have bougoni west and gold too!

Yep one of those was me, i just think it is hugely undervalued and with FFX/Ganfeng next door they will want to ensure operations get off the ground smoothly. I also can’t see lithium prices going significantly downward over the long term which plays into KOD’s hands. Good luck everyone.

Updating of feasibility study commenced Nov 2021 and said it was an estimated 6 months timeline which means end Apr/start May as per RNS back in Dec. Should show huge upswing in profit (was already decent) as was based on old lithium prices.

Yeah we know how hard Ganfeng are at negotiating as a result of Bacanora (or could say weak negotiations by Bacanora). For one thing KOD are sitting on a huge amount of a critical resource so can wait until the right deal comes.

Back in the last pres back in Nov he mentioned that he’s already been approached by multiple partners. Someone even asked has he been approached by Ganfeng and he said he couldn’t answer that directly...so think Ganfeng might have offered a low ball offer and he’s negotiating to offer max shareholder value as he has a load of skin in the game.

Meant people not states...reckon some people on here will be able to give a bit more detail on Mali politics as I’m not an expert here and no doubt a lot of people have done a ton of research

Pleasure Smed these are my own thoughts so please do you own research, hope it helps anyway. THe unknowns for me are the deal (think that will come and be good) and political stability in Mali (no idea on this, being under military rule but some other states might be able to offer some insight). If it was in the Ivory Coast I think the market cap and SP would be far higher as that’s a more stable country.

My thoughts are that a deal is being worked (not rocket science) and there was no rise in the SP when we were awarded the license. This was big news and perhaps missed by the market? Who knows. But if we look at the trajectory of FFX (obviously way larger than KOD) it’s clear that investors haven’t been put off investing in Mali lithium/gold, and that’s with lower prices than today. It’s clear that the potential profit for KOD is huge once we have a revised FS. Not sure exactly when this will happen but when it does I’m expecting a massive rise upwards. This could happen anytime, could be this week, could be in a few months. But our resource is massive and will be fought over and Bernie is in no rush to get the right deal so I’m being patient on this one.

For me KOD significantly reduced risk after it got its license and also has no debt which is a big thing for me.

Let’s hope kodal is like an old school glass ketchup bottle. Good things come to those who wait ??

Plus new tax year starts on Wed which could well free up some £ to buy into people’s ISAs. I can’t wait to Wed when I can reload!

I guess one comparison could be with FFX, whilst we are nowhere near their market cap, investors haven’t been put off the fact they operate in Mali which should be good news for investors here I imagine with a revised FS or FID?
