Yep totally agree, and from reading the RNS these funds will be used to explore Bougoni West which we haven’t even considered. That could hold a huge amount of lithium who knows. Bernie is clearly wanting to get the lithium out as soon as he can as there is a huge supply demand gap so people will pay top dollar…

Any ideas about what it entails re KOD setting up a new mining company?

Also does this mean that KOD might potentially look to go it alone rather than a JV? Any thoughts?

I’d say the level of the placing is about right. Not like cadence for example which offered a huge discount on their recent placing which upset a lot of shareholders. The good news is we’ve now got more cash in the bank to not only progress Bougoni but also start exploring Bougoni West which has significant potential…

Yep I say and say again look at our market cap…it’s ridiculously small for what we are sitting on (and remember we also have gold plus the bougoni west land holding). So our patience I am confident will be rewarded.

But yes I do agree if there is going to be a delay it’s in everyone’s interest to know.

I think he said estimated time period of 6 months, so might be earlier or later, so didn’t think it was a definite time frame of max 6 months.

I think the wider economic climate is affecting it, but I’m not concerned. We are still so so undervalued with a resource everyone wants and the revised FS should rocket the SP.

That’s total garbage. How about southern print and recently York mailing going bust? The demand for print is very much alive (I know as I work in this sector!). The costs have spiralled out of control, that’s the problem NOT lack of demand.

On the other hand I love the idea of the company!

One of my issues is that there is a huge amount of energy to run the sites. I work in print and the energy bills are staggering and have put companies out of business. Not to say the energy used here will be as much but perhaps this could be a barrier?

Interestingly Tesla have just posted a record profit beating all analyst’s expectations so expect lithium demand to be super hot for some time.

This is just my opinion but reckon 0.55-0.6 once RNS lands. But I’d expect long term to see 1p plus.
