Another detailed RNS showing there’s a load of lithium in the ground (surprise surprise). Bit annoying we have another extension (prob should have extended to 30th June in the first instance) but hey ho, guess the admin is just taking longer than expected. The funding can land any day between tomorrow and 30th June and I wouldn’t want to be out when it lands!

Indeed Paul, current lithium prices mean over a 4 year initial period c £700m of profit to kodal which quite frankly is nuts, doesn’t include £500m plus of gold nor any extension to our current lithium resource (and I’m expecting a decent uplift). So doesn’t bother me when it lands, reckon will be an extension but if not I’ll be v happy!

Also don’t forget that if it does get extended to 30th June that doesn’t mean that we would have to wait for the full month for the money to be paid, it could come at any time and I for sure do not want to be out of Kodal when the RNS lands.

I’m not sure, the RNS states a date of 31st May, I would love for the funds to come in asap but looks like a massive job for the admin to get done. I’m preparing myself for another extension but if it doesn’t happen I’ll be well chuffed!

Yeah exactly, the big part was getting Chinese government approval imo. Both parties want this mine to be built as soon as possible. Hainan have invested a load of cash in their own processing facility so it’s in everyone’s interest this goes ahead asap. Just think about how long new passports take as an example, frustrating but out of our control.

For what it’s worth the only reason I can think that our share price is affected by prem’s is that perhaps the algorithm that is used not only has buy/sell ratio but also some sector performance data included? No idea tbh but interested if anyone knows. As we always said Daz, a pilot plant is massively different to a fully defined resource that kod has. Ps nah you won’t get an apology!

It could go either way, regardless they will have to issue an RNS if there is a delay. For me, still nothing has changed. Hainan and Kodal and fully committed to the project, it’s just admin holding it up totally outside their control.

Also I find some articles out there such as the below as providing a pretty warped view of things. Same as Motley Fool articles. Yes Steve sold but he sold just before the end of the tax year so could be for tax purposes etc. plus the amount of director selling is pretty much diddly squat vs their overall holding ie they are holding. Just pretty poor summaries, I tend to do the opposite of what they say!

Plenty of them too, crawled back to their little holes. Feel sorry for the person who sold 10m @ 0.61. I think the best bet is to look at strong fundamentals and if there is no reason behind a drop, hold.
