Here's another article describing the Palantir FDP system and the problems it faces in making it work with all the other NHS IT systems. Lots of bugs still need fixing before it works perfectly.

Speaking as an ex-IT guy, the Palantir FDP project stinks of becoming a £330 million failure. What IT project ever gets a go-ahead when a third of the people testing it say it is not up to the job?

This is not a competitor to Bleepa even if they get it to work one day.

Hi JJ, there appears to be a bit of a rebellion in the NHS regarding Palantir's Federated Data Platform (FDP). Maybe the NHS will be in a position to spend some of the £480m on Bleepa that they will save by junking this FDP.

Hi JJ, I can see no overlap between Bleepa and Palantir's Federated Data Platform (FDP). The FDP should offer better data integration thus helping to improve understanding of patient health, treatment outcomes, and healthcare system performance. There should also be an improvement data exchange and communication between different healthcare entities within the NHS. It will also help in research collaboration and decision making but not at an individual patient level.

All told the FDP is about achieving advanced analytics, improving efficiency and optimising resources.

As you can see, the FDP has little to do with individual care which is where Bleepa and CareLocker excel. I don't think you have anything to worry about if you think Palantir's FDP is going to encroach on Bleepa's territory.
