But, one thing we do know - the world is in a tense old mess and Bitcoin may be the grand investment of the times but, history will repeat itself and there can only be value in Gold and Silver! Nice article, StoneFold. If there is no labour unrest and a mining charter to not make things more complicated, we could easily shoot back to levels well beyond 10p in the not too distant future, imho. POG must make a turn for the better at some point.

Agree, Mulder. Gold not going anywhere down that mine (shaft)! When Au hits the heights some are talking about - more than $2,500/Oz as an example. When the re-rate comes, it would be a great time to sell those reserves, don't you think!

Mulder, I would presume that POG is quoted in USD's and sold on the world market in dollars, surely? Weakening Rand will definitely have an impact on the dividend we receive here in the UK, correct?

Gold hedge not evident but, it must come at some point and be reflected in PAF's share price! POG must be at a tipping point, things are tense on the world financial markets with so many (negative) scenarios!

That would be fantastic news if Chad became Africa's biggest gold producer! Allthatglitters, do you perhaps have a more concrete reference to that effect to share, please? Would appreciate such good news as my PM's are rather depressing (to look at!)! Unlike SA where they probably have some of the world's biggest reserves of gold BUT, 2Km deep. Chad's Au is scattered like fairy dust over the top. LOL! This belt stretches from the African coast line of Liberia right through to Saudi Arabia!

seer, are you liking the, what appears to be a sustained rise in sp? Wonder if we have bottomed? My reading seems to indicate that there will be a further downturn in POG/S before a massive swing upwards. Wonder if this correlates to 5th September when our man Mr T decides on a further trade war with China. If the Yuan weakens POG/S will as well. Chinese play a longterm strategy and no November Midterms to worry about! Their man is in charge for life, LOL! There are so many articles about a severe crash in USD..... !!! Soon?

What a nice sp reaction so far, nearly 9% up! Long may it last and remember there is another 4000m to be analysed, correct? And Chad? More news there now that gold has hopefully bottomed would be good!
