Mulder, I (finally!) get what you are saying. Reduce debt and have cash on hand. But, who in the present climate of mining politics (and other on-going political issues) is going to buy a mine like Evander. I note many of the other deep mines are struggling in SA, LOL! No carrots to attract big miners, they have all invested elsewhere! Or are struggling to survive themselves - e.g Barrick & Randgold merger. USD shortages already effecting emerging markets from QT.
Sadly, humans make judgement mistakes (Cobus) and hopefully that is water under the bridge, let's move on!

Mulder, could I have a guess what's happening behind the scenes? As the joke I saw this last week, if the anc were given the Sahara desert, there would be a sand shortage within months! LOL. Mantashe is now also implicated in "State Capture" or at least he will need to explain aspects of his involvement. Hence, the old man, completely out of his depth and could never make decisions anyway, has not delivered the Mining Charter. The long arm of the Law is slowly catching up!
Back to PAF - Cobus has been brilliant in a tight spot. PAF is re-energised! One of the lowest aIl in Gold producers in the world! Evander might still come into play as an asset to sell (or mine?) when POG reaches dizzy heights when Wall Street takes a turn for the worse and USD weakens as the number of enemy countries rises buy the day - the Trump Effect.
Future is goood here! Buying and accumulating on the dips as and when I can!

No doubt that Evander was a major hurdle, now overcome. But, the video interview satisfies me that PAF is now on track to be a robust business again (Cobus's words!) and we will need to see them hit their production targets in the coming months. I cannot really comprehend the negativity towards PAF, who have just released a rather pleasing RNS. On a quick read, it was only the climb down to not pay a dividend that caught my eye. OK, the cash situation at the moment does not look good but, then there are so many other positive things! I cannot believe that no institution will advance/loan PAF cash to see it through? I have faith that the worse is past and we have excellent prospects going forward and just sorry I don't have some cash available to jump in! PAF could easily be well above 10 pence if there is a change in sentiment towards PM's! Jurisdiction is a bit of a problem but then it is Africa and one needs a higher risk tolerance for investing there anyway! Present government is hamstrung sorting corruption etc... a jolly good thing!

If this company could survive under a Mugabe catastrophe, then the time now is heaven sent! OK, it will remain the jurisdiction of "Africa" with all it's troubles but expect good things from (government views on mining) now going forwards! LOL! If the Mining Charter was a departure to genuinely improve the prospects of major mining house investment in SA, that would be a wonder. But, I very much doubt it, sorry! The anc is stuck and convinced BEE is the answer! The land grab question will pave the way for policy - and actually they don't have a plausible land policy going forward. They are aware that Zim imploded post land grab by mugabe. SA is an emerging market with huge debt and should tread very carefully going forward! Money borrowed in USD's and the FED will be raising rates! There are emerging market countries that could be toppled and let's hope SA is NOT one of them! Time for considered common sense to prevail there by leaders. Ramaphosa in particular needs to tread carefully! China is not the panacea they think! Just a financial colonialist in a new disguise!

Since 4th September! All considered, particularly the location of the mine, I have invested in a few thousand more. This will shoot upwards my gut feeling tells me when POG turns. There now seem to be signs of a reversal of Au/g fortunes . Hope the predictions are right for a change, LOL!

Guy's no harm in being positive as we have so much good news (drilling results) and perhaps unexpected (positive news like offers for our resources, who knows!) to look forward to. Can I say that it would be jolly disappointing for this board to become chaotic like some others (PREM as an example). Always appreciated in-put from others on here and you know who you are! Thanks!
At a glance at the world out there this morning, what struck me was the incredible debt, year on year in the USA (Zero Hedge). This must implode - but when! Buying Precious Metal shares right now might be depressing but, if you are contrarian, the rewards will be spectacular! Just a question of "when" POG/S will reach their bottom. There seem to be signs that the banks have started to long Au/g.
On IRR we are going to score on multiple fronts! I remain positive and wish the MM"s would give us some slack! Perhaps we could gain from the "silver sprinkles" of being connected to SOLG via NM? Is this possible?
