Just had a message from my colleague, a Prof in Plastic Surgery: All surgery cancelled in this large referral hospital with a plea NOT to get up ladders, use chain saws, careful mowing lawns (toes) etc... Only very dire real emergency surgery is being performed and they will just bandage your amputated toe, so pass on the message to really stay safe! Amen!

Comex Gold in meltdown? And POG has reached well above 1600 early today, a good start! All good for us here with it safely tucked away underground, LOL! 24 Million Oz? Or more? And if Ag does better than Au, all the better! This must factor into our calculations of what we are worth big time and ongoing..... Just having a brain wave, perhaps if Au reaches above 2000, a new mine built could be paid back within 2 or 3 years, LOL!

Hate to "Talk Corona" but as a Doctor who knows the SA scene. This virus will probably have a far worse effect on the SA population than even Italy (or us in the UK - still to see the peak here, sadly). 2 week lock down is too short.

The obvious one is Corona, then there is the Saudi and Russian Oil war. QE not helping , reducing rates - no effect (yet). Derivatives could a multi Trillion $ domino for Deutche Bank? The Velocity of Money is ZERO, economic activity severely curtailed by panic and fear! This is heading for a depression last seen in 1929. Hope I am wrong?

On my watchlist it is a Blood Bath! Not a trader, so will wait for things to cool down - I hope!
In last crises, gold was sold off early for liquidity - then rose . My view is that Gold IS money - as per Mr Morgan, the Banker.
This QE and reducing the rates is not going to help (the USA). Got a feeling there will be a massive rebalance but a depression not recession first, so best to hang onto Physical Au & Ag.

Wonder why Coronation were/are so anxious to sell a good performing share that would yield them a good dividend soon and for the foreseeable future, silly? Maybe they needed cash?
