True, E.T.. This should have happened long ago but wasting money and having no clear feasible direction or plan and peeving off major investors did not help.
Right now still no defence of sp.
You just will not get this share price up with silence!
Still, we have a Tier One for sale and PM's will continue to reach for the sky!
I cannot agree more with you. Particularly as this is a company that cannot communicate to its (smaller) share holders where they are off or on. Are we in a closed period or not, as an example, what are we doing about financing and a number of other important questions related to the health of the company as a whole. They could have chosen to give their view on the referendum's outcome - just some positive spin - to show they are'nt a Mothballed Deadbeat lot! We have the resources drilled up and more to come!
So will they leave the financial health of the company to the last minute? I cannot believe leaving finance to last is a top strategy, surely NOT!
It would have been wonderful if over the last year they had found finance to drill a few holes at the adjacent Blanca Nieves site. Imagine the prospects of 2 tier one deposits next to each other!
Just wondering with these (scam) minute buys by our CEO and CFO this last week, what the real reason has been? More important, have attempts to find finance been given headwinds? Or can the Board not decide? Where are we? What is the way forward sitting on a mothballed Tier One? I cannot say that I am a happy investor.
Red, you asked me what Solgold Management could have done to defend Solgold's Share Price, and I am referring particularly when the sp was at the 20p mark and there was optimism in the air. Then things went rapidly downward and we looked absolutely mothballed, not good for an exploration company. Particularly, a company with wonderful set of tenements and proven Geologists. Things were obviously more complicated than that and there were many other problems, I grant SC and the board that. But, the potential was there to find a second Tier 1 8Km down the road and still is!
A CEO's ability to defend their company's stock price is determined by a company's future prospects of increased shareholder value, market share, and future return on investment.
A remarkable tactic of CEOs would be having a strong investor relations program so that they can tell people what they are doing with the money in order to increase the company's future profitability as an exploration company. This will ultimately lead to an increase in sales on top of an already-existing growing base.
As summarized by Dunn on his website "CEOs act as unofficial stewards for shareholders." They must keep investors happy while still maintaining long-term viability or reliability of the business. Investors must feel confident enough about their investments that they do not sell off any shares, while making sure that current shareholders don't sell either.
The question is: Why did some major investors decide to pack up and sell, particularly as we have a proven Tier One Copper, Gold and Silver Mine with the possibility of long mine life, huge proven gold reserve and a quick pay back period to build an environmentally friendly underground block cave mine?
Just some food for thought.
Colonel, you are on the point. This team are a blatantly sad lot! Not defending our sp, incredibly poor communication with PI's they reach out to annually to support their grand schemes. I don't have words to describe them. Yes, badly let down!
Would love to see what transforms with the announcement of a finance agreement (or perhaps more!). Pop comes to mind, I can hear it! Loud bang.
As POG and POS keep popping upwards themselves, all good, LOL!
Time is running out, could it be today?
Agree Tesla1, at this point the company needs to show that it is financed to more than survive for another year. Would be wonderful to drill a few holes at Blanca in some sweet spots, LOL!
With POG /Silver and Copper rising ballistically at the moment, it can only mean a bidding war at some point.
Eloro, there are so many examples of "Dicey Jurisdictions for miners", its just unbelievable. Mining is a risky business, like it or not. Examples: The next govt in SA might nationalise and land grab after May elections, the DRC is very high risk, so is mining in Russia right now. Unions are strong and Chile is quite left wing and offers difficulties.
We are in a jurisdiction where the locals seem to be "Pro Cascabel", jobs which make sense such as forestry have been created. In my humble opinion, the Mexico Affair does not directly impact on Solgold's course, more a political clean-up. In parallel to the Naboa taking on the gangsters down south.
Fact is - we are a Tier 1 discovery and becoming a wealthier resource by the day as precious metals rise relentlessly daily. The elephant in the room seems to be hidden inflation and worries about economies, endless wars and debt. Fiat vs Au/Ag.
31.3Mil Oz of Au alone at e new record price (and possibly going much higher!) at $2327/Oz makes for heck-of-a-profitable mine in the near future! Just saying? Then there is Ag & Cu = both going to spiral upwards too in 2024.
Come on Majors, where are your bids? Waiting for this show to become much, much more expensive, are you?
Wish I could give this outfit some serious advice, LOL!
- Sort the funding buggers
- then tell us the Grand Plan buggers!!
- considering drilling a few holes (on the sweet spots, hopefully) , buggers!!
- how far are we with the licence procurements, buggers?
- get a move on, buggers! You've bungled for years and years! ( e.g. $4 Mil missing)
- don't tell us about "rocks", we've had that!
All said, it will be Hasta Manana!! Oh well! Always tomorrow!
Nice to wake up and find POG has broken $2300/Oz this morning.
Does not seem as if the upward movement in POG is over yet? How high will we go?
And smaller mners have not felt the effect of The Herd smelling the money yet! When does the stampede happen? Must be soon? GLA
