5 Million Tons deficit currently
Is the collapse in Copper Price, the calm before the storm?

Addicknt, we are expecting an announcement but then what can it be about? As you said, we are financed for the next year, could this be a Joint Venture (hope not!), a sale at last, really? I see somebody tweeting on Solgold matters, is also expecting some news?
Fortissimo and DBW, looks like the Tuesday 12th June is going to be an important date for us at Solgold? Would be wonderful news if the politically sensitive and beaurocratic pieces of the licence puzzle can be secured to make us attractive for resource hungry major miners.

Interesting read on Santiago Vaca.
Been with Solgold since 2014, a long, long time and his portfolio states that he clearly has insight into where Solgold is possibly heading! Yes, would be most interested to hear what this man has to say!
I see : Druckenmiller Bullish on Copper.
" Copper is in the tightest position compared with any environment (I've) ever studied"
"Coming out of a hard-landing scenario, copper will be a huge beneficiary of the EV boom"
I read this on Tweets and Hedgehog trader seems involved in that discussion....
Can only be good for us - but in the longer term, sorry!
SM, a bit of a shock that Nick Rule suggests that 4 to 5 Billion Dollars will be required to build a mine at Cascabel! That much financing, ouch!!!!
Lundin Gold, he says was much easier (smaller amount ) and the return was excellent on that mine's development.
Dreamboatwarrior, just wondering when Solgold, now amalgamated with Cornerstone, is going to release their new up-dated website as clearly a lot of new information is not visible at the moment. Perhaps they are waiting for after the signing of the China Free Trade Deal to be signed? Or the Strategic Review to be released? Or am I just hopeful I guess?
Would be nice to know where and when they are drilling, where are they spending money Or saving money etc.....
What are their blinking plans or progress?
Hey, what's up? Usually by now "The Negative Squad" have got their opinions heard! Not a word today, ha, ha!
On the other hand - we just wait, and wait, and wait! patience is a virtue!
But..... someday (hopefully soon!) we may be in for a big surprise!!!
GLA. Have a Great Coronation Weekend!
PS Gold and Silver on the move again, not bad for a potential Tier One Gold, Silver and Copper deposit!
Good morning Mog, thanks for the nice article , which is actually positive for us. Not only does it highlight the inevitable shortfall in Copper production but, it demonstrates that jurisdictions everywhere have their problems and miners (on the whole) overcome these problems. We have a Tier 1 with many positives. Power, water, a local population that seem satisfied with the possibility of a mine to be developed in a modern efficient way. Now just waiting for a buyer, ha, ha!!!
But Zoros, just because the Chilean left leaning government decides on that kind of strategy, this does not necessary mean that a future Equadorian government will follow suite? If they do that, it would be tragic for their hopes to develop the country and attract foreign investment and pay off debt. Mind you, the Chinese seem to be impervious to this kind of treatment. Perhaps they have them over a barrel with debt?
Bubble, these are REALLY interesting times for us here on Solgold! Why have we just kept on rising (above 20p)? What has been leaked? What have we really got at Pornevir, Tandy or elsewhere?
No problem - we have the "Goods"! Who is interested in buying in?
Nice to be a LTH at this point in time, LOL!

Just wondering if Solgold will fit into any future plans as regards this merger? Newmont would become the worlds biggest gold producer but would an added 26milOz and Copper production for 50 years entice them further?
Guess the Chinese are our masters, LOL!
