The last RNS was never that bad/negative to have warranted the severe drop in Fres's sp. My opinion , for what it's worth, we were gigantically manipulated. So cannot see any reason why the recovery here cannot be substantial as long as POG and POS play their part. I cannot think a Black Swann event will hit Fres as hard as the drop before, should we experience such an event (e.g, Russia invading Ukraine). GLA
BNC, your points are correct but, heck. We have needed to be incredibly patient with this company! Some of the others are just expressing their disappointment at the Solgold so opaque. They have made mistakes (PFS) and could have been more informative to date. Will CD have a winning strategy releasing news of activities we PI's suspect but not informed about? JV's spring to mind? Mind you, we a due some important drilling results to start with! GLA
Last quoted POG on Saturday was $1860 (=/-). Wonder if POG will rapidly rise to more "appropriate higher levels" this week on the back of war stories and inflation etc....? And obviously Silver with Gold. How can that be bad for Fres?
Deepjoy, this has never been a share that has high volumes of trades. Definitely not on the LSE but not sure about the US Market. I guess not there either in comparison to other precious metal shares.
But, POG is steadily going NORTHWARDS, and for very good reason(s)!
Deepjoy and all others. I listened to Alistair McLeod on KingWorld on the price of gold. His arguments for the direction of gold to go UP (POG), seem solid and confirmed by many other Gold Bugs. The question is just WHEN? Does a Ukranian war need to unfold? Surely debt, viruses, flagging economies, inflation and bursting bubbles (like the Facebook the most recent) etc... All should underpin a rising POG - yet POG seems to be firmly held down?
Anyway, Caledonia is a wonderful little profitable miner and we look forward to improved production with the new shaft. If the POG does it's magic (to $2000?), our dividend s will more then satisfy us PI's! For sure!
Thanks for the many contributions of late by so many of you.
As a winger of note as regards news, I now rest my case. We have a new CEO busy boring his way forward with many possibilities unfolding and a rerate on the cards. Let's see what next? Drilling news or JV's or cap in hand or what? Clearly the man is confident we have more than one Tier one asset! Downhill towards our Alpala PFS. GLA
Thanks DBW for that find which also came up on Solgolds Tweet.
After a period of really feeling we were in the Doldrums, this interview was a morale booster. The CEO is interested in Share Holder value and has a plan. PFS a definite in Q2, first. Did not hint at the missing drilling results though. Could that be the icing on the cake?
Yes, why no news on drill results and JV's for a start! Heavens if they wanted to keep interest alive, there are so many positive pieces of news they could spin out . But, ZILCH to date. We have no idea, just rudderless!
Wow from me as well! Sub 700. But where is the RNS with the production figures for us low feeding PI's?
Hope you guys are on the tickey with this forecast?
Just such a pity the price of gold and silver has not escaped the immense manipulation and gone skywards. Just time and both will! Too many negative events or black swans swirling about! We will break free.
Thanks Italian, that's great to keep where we are in perspective. Just hope the PFS does not get kicked down the line again. We need to jump this important hurdle, amoungst the many others, LOL! PFS soon, please!

In case some of you missed this important visit by DC! Wonder what was discussed, don't you? Nice picture!
Eish
ToS, you are so right. The clock is literally ticking here towards the AGM. Cannot think Solgold and particularly DC are up for option 4. No way! There are just too many permeations and info we as PI's are not privy to, to come to the correct conclusion and the direction we will take.
And even if it is funding and to become a miner, a major could still come with an offer that would seriously need to be considered and sweep us off our feet!
Before there were rumours BHP were to make an offer for Newcrest. If that is the case, of a take over, I would feel doom and gloom for us with approximately 28% in BHP's hands.
Barrick Gold's Mark Bristow is a man who understands working in problematic political environments and I wonder if the 21MOz of gold in our core has caught his attention? Could Barrick be interested in a JV? Would be nice to know?
The 50 year copper resource must have prickled the interest of many of the majors, but who has shown an interest behind closed doors? I guess time will tell and all revealed in the coming months! GLA
Then lastly, have we found the finance to go it alone? Has Ingo been successful because if he has, we are in a powerful position. This will obviously depend on an excellent PFS/DFS.
I cannot understand that if our explorers are so successful with 1st holes, we cannot find partners to JV the drilling at our long list of tenements? Our money is not infinite and the hat will be going around quite soon for more drilling.
Was rather hoping we would start this week with a bang! A RNS.
Hanging in here for drilling news, JV news and snippet's on monetisation . Or strategy from our new CEO. Or is the blackout related to a takeover? Surely there has been enough time now since the AGM?
Would be nice to have the answer to this prospect, anybody know? Off the cuff, I have the feeling that Rare Earth's have some new separation method. The CEO gave a brilliant interview and explanation a few months back.
