Well summarised DBW. Long ago there was a lot of hype about a orebody target to the north and the name escapes me. Something like Chambiota? It is ringed on the magnetic aerial surveys they did. Then there is Parambas and one or two others.... It took many drills to find Escondida in Chile and they knew it was there....... GLA
Had a quick look Bubble and not sure what you are referring to? Sp was 0,51 and had been at 0,53 earlier. no new news released there. But, for sure we are close to "an event" of sorts! When do they present Porvenir by itself in a session?
Happy to hold here and will buy a few more should there be a dip. There is good news to come. Perhaps a new gold deposit or old mine elsewhere in Zim is on the cards besides the recent purchase? Learmoth hinted in the interactive interview. Zimbabwe seems to be much more stable or conducive to mining business than a few years back with Mugabe at the wheel. When this new mine shaft is complete by the end of 2022, we should see a steady increase in gold production and hopefully a much higher POG? What is not to like?
Yip, I get what you are saying, Ortherncopper. Simply a regulatory requirement. But even so.... Part of an important process moving forward. Should we want to mine ourselves(for finance approval), JV or a bid.
I wonder if anybody can tell me why we have not drilled Parambas, Chinambieto, Cristal, Trivino and Carmen sites? Or will these possibly be explored later?
I see there is a separate detailed similar document for Porvenir. Interesting!
Yes, DBW. Not a peep from the CGP crowd. Wonder if they are nervous or content with their situation? Because if that DFS arrives the bill is going to be a Big one, LOL! Warren Irvine has got to squeek something at some point soon!
Great interview, Devonscape. Thank you!
Seems to me we are already behind the curve in terms of Copper Production. A crisis in copper availability in the making!
Makes Solgold and Alpala all that more important in terms of strategic importance.
We are so, so grossly undervalued. Our time must be coming soon........
Almostdone, wish the winds of change for this perfect storm will begin to blow! LOL!
Like others, I hope there will be follow-up news on Porvenir next week?
Further hints on strategies in the background might start to leak? Any news is good news, imho!
Thanks for those brilliant posts over the last few days, DBW. Evidence is here for all to see the import role Alpala (and other discoveries ) will play in our new world economies. The copper will just have to come out, LOL! Question is: how and with who's help? Hopefully ONWARDS AND UPWARDS this week!
Very much like your thoughts going forward here, Red!
All of a sudden the bleakness has disappeared and many options/possibilities are possible on the horizon.
Just hope there is Solgold Follow-up RNS's to keep us and the market on our toes and in upward march of the sp!
GLA
The part I ponder on:
Incoming CFO Ayten Saridas said: "It is a privilege to join SolGold at such a crucial time in its journey. SolGold has a tier one asset with global significance and I look forward to working together with Darryl and the Board in delivering on the company's growth plans and reaching the next critical milestone."
So what is the next critical milestone?
Thanks for a Great Start to the week Damers!
What we are sure of is: We will hear from the company at some point, hopefully soon, on what the next step forward is or will be! Quite excited by our prospects! GLA!
Red, wherever you read, there is fear that markets are going (much) lower. I agree and wish Solgold would get on with securing funding to continue drilling. That is where the good news will be for us here. Besides finding somebody to make an offer.
addicknt, you raise some very tricky and thorny issues here. Rubicons that need to be crossed quite soon. Cannot be long before we hear from Solgold Management on these decisions? We need funding soon to survive. Where will it come from? After-all, drilling is lifeblood.
Red, thanks you for your in-put today with all those facts and figures (explained!). Put's one's mind at rest why some of us PI's have hung in here through thick and thin. Often, more on a gut feeling, asking ourselves: "Why are so undervalued, is this worth the risk and stress to wait for delivery of a fair sp". Be it forward to production or preferred option, a bid from somebody. Have a Great Weekend off all of you and may we please have some rain soon! Cheers, Eish!
